"A nice hotel in a good location for exploring Stirling but in a busy town setting. " (107335797)

Room was generally clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff were polite and helpful, and responded positively to problems. Food in the restaurant was good.

Location does not match with the "country house" description, although it is in a good central location for exploring Stirling. Fire doors on our floor were always propped open, but the manager assured us this would be dealt with.

From the moment of arrival to the time of departure the service and general attitude of all the staff that we came into contact with was amongst the best we have experienced.

Excellent modern room, very helpful friendly staff.

music from kitchen below loud and annoying when trying to sleep, had to phone reception and complain. No answer first time, but second time answered, helpfully and music stopped shortly after. Bed a bit hard.

Excellent value food - very good, not the cheapest - but well worth it. Great atmosphere with pianist in bar
