  "Le due camere doppie, in senso assoluto, erano a posto, senza troppe pretese ma ordinate e abbastanza pulite. Se invece le rapportiamo al prezzo, erano decisamente scarse. Questo giudizio è supportato anche dal fatto che la colazione era su richiesta, nel senso che la persona preposta ci ha chiesto cosa gradivamo per colazione: per quel prezzo tutti noi ci aspettavamo una colazione a buffet!"   "When we arrived at this guest house there was nobody to meet us just a mobile number to call. We checked in ok after instructions over the phone. However all rooms we stayed in were not great: tv was not working in one room and in the other wasn’t there at all, bathrooms were dirty and with lots of mould on them, only one light bulb out of 4 was working. Breakfast was also poor, just some cereals and toast, coffee tasted like the cheapest possible instant coffee you can get. We paid £70 per room for this guest house and after travelling for a week around Scotland I think this hotel is the worst value for money you can get. Will not stay again and not recommended.   "A bit soul-less - you see a mobile number on the front-door, you phone it and someone talks you through how to get in, then you get to your room and let yourself in and you don't see anyone else until the next morning. But if you're on a budget (and aren't we all?) then it might be ok." (107546980)

  Clean. Good sized room.

  TV and light over mirror in shower-room did not appear to work.

  "The room was a bit outdated, the bathroom was clean but the shower cubicle had black mouldy bits all over it. Not good value for the money we paid. Good point was that breakfast was good, if only continental, and was all fresh, served by a very pleasant young girl. We were not impressed by the wait on the front step for over ½ an hour to get in when we had said that we would arrive at a certain time, and had to be let in by another guest. Only lucky that the weather was decent and not bucketing of rain or cold. Not a great experience on the whole. " (107553820)

  Room overlooked a nice quiet garden

  Couldn't get into guest house. Had to bang loads on front glass door for ages, only let in by another guest. The phone number on my booking form only went to answer call and was not accepting messages. Only once we finally got inside the property did we get a mobile number to phone. Just by chance we walked along the road later to find somewhere to eat and came upon another property owned by the same group and the policy seemed to be the same of being unmanned and with phone numbers to contact. Not a good policy at all and other guests experienced the same problem of arriving and no one there. Also didn't feel very safe as anyone could have got in.

  "Overall we were not impressed with the hotel at all. And would not recommend it." (107707531)

  The location of the hotel in relation to our event

  The room was not good, however it did the job, bedding was poor and facilities were poor, lighting was not working, The breakfast was no where near any value for the money, very poor in that respect.

  Ben collegato al centro mediante bus e a pochi metri qualche fast food e dei negozi che possono sempre essere utili

  Non c'erano le lenzuola, ma solo il piumone. Acqua della doccia fradda. Colazione scarsa: di caldo solo caffè, pane e uova. Pagamento in anticipo e solo sterline. Televisione non funzionante. Il personale si è visto solo al pagamento e alla colazione,per il resto non era presente.

  "room was clean but we did not think the service from staff was up to much. must say we missed having a cooked breakfast" (107137248)

  room & bathroom very clean

  Room was not serviced during our stay - i.e. towels were not changed without me havin to go and ask, bins were not emptied the whole stay, cups etc werent cleaned or replaced. Continental b/fast was just cereal, fruit, croissants or toast and therefore got a bit monotonous! some light bulds needed replacing. TV in room got very poor reception and we couldnt watch it (my hubby missed watchin the news)

  "I would highly recommend avoiding this GUEST HOUSE!" (107199184)

  Close to stadium

  Check in was restricted to between 12-5 a call had to be made to arrange later check in except the hotel was difficult to contact, parking was taken up by members of staff and there are only 2 spaces. The shower in room 2 had no hot water, the tv also did not work. The sign in bedrooms states used towels to be left in shower for collection, this was not done nor were the room tea and coffee supplies restocked and dirty cups were left so by the 2nd morning they has stuck to each other. The hotel offered no hot breakfast and cold breakfast was only available between 8 - 9 at the weekend a time restriction i could understand if someone had to cook! The final straw was that i had to pay using the card used on internet to reserve the booking, no alternative could be accepted by the hotel, I found this very inconvenient.

  Helpful son of owners.

  Impossibly hard to find. It's not clear on the internet that the address changes right next door nor that the house is not anywhere near the block of B & Bs with house numbers in the same group. When you phone to ask where they're located, you get a message saying they do not answer telephone calls.

  "Nice Hotel, Nice people! And the price is low." (107249566)

  the hardwares are at least ok, not any problem. Performance of staff is fantastic. Their colleagues there are very friendly. and the car parking is very easy. Nice Hotel, Nice people!

  the web site never said it was not a hotel, there were no facilities to stay in. Also they didn't want credit cards
