    "General bad management - pity because the location is good as are the staff." (108749195)

    Staff pleasant and friendly. Very helpful. Rooms large and clean.

    Poor maintenance - had to move rooms 3 times until got one with a working AC. at breakfast they ran out of eggs!!!

    "Wonderful" (108124772)

    Everything, from beginning to end was very efficient and worked smoothly. The staff were magnificent. They have obviously been selected carefully and trained to a high standard. They could not have been more firendly, helpful or courteous. They also seemed very happy in their work and were working very well as a team. Leadership, empowerment and accountability appear to be strong features of this hotel and perhaps the company as a whole. I will be using your hotels again and will be recommending them to others.     "Have never stayed at a Premier Inn before and I have to say I really wasn't expecting much. I was really surprised at how nice, clean and comfortable it was." (107967227)

    I had to change booking over the phone and staff were really friendly and helpful, this continued once we had arrived. Room was large and clean and bed was comfortable.

    Our only complaint would be the noisy floor boards in the room above. You could hear every step of the person above and it woke us up every morning.

    Excellent value for money, helpful staff.

    On the second night there were some very loud and aggressive guests in a nearby room who woke us serveral times with their swearing and persistant door banging. This was no fault of the hotels.

    The cleanliness of the hotel, the security, and the staff. These were three of the great standouts. We really felt safe in this hotel and it is appreciated when traveling in a foreign country. The cleanliness is always a bonus and the staff was friendly and helpful.

    "Generally very good, but the dispute over my reservation at 11.30pm when my elderly mother and I were very tired, was upsetting. As I booked well in advance, a room near the lift would have been helpful." (107665297)

    The staff were very friendly, especially the young lady in charge of breakfasts. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast delicious, online booking easy and location ideal.

    On checking in the receptionist could not find my booking, then asked why I had asked for a twin room when travelling alone. My mother was with me, but sitting down as she was very tired. He then asked if I wanted breakfast, which I had booked online, but he insisted I had not, although he said he would arrange it. After some checking he said I could have twin room, but then said that it was a very long walk down the corridors. As I had specifically asked for a room close to the lift, due to my mother's advanced age, I queried this, but was told they were fully booked. We had no choice but to accept the room, which was as far from the lift as it could be. At breakfast I was told that I had ordered and paid for three breakfasts, which I had definitely not. The young lady promised to get the excess refunded to my credit card. There were no instructions on how to operate the aircon, and the room was very warm.

    "Ryan, Suzie and Caroline ( she was on breakfast buffet duty on the morning of Thurs4th) were all genuinely happy, polite and helpful. I never once felt that they were saying things because they had to. There was a real friendly professional atmosphere about the place and none of the usual corporate blandness. I stay in hotels regularly and this felt very different. Excellent!" (107970736)

    The hotel was very well located within walking distance of the centre of Reading. Although I was not driving I noted an excellent car park next to the hotel. Despite its location it was incredibly quiet and I slept very soundly. The check in guy ( Ryan I think) even highlighted the sleep well guarantee to me.

    I had a little trouble with the key card entry system and twice had to return to reception to have my key reset but this was a minor inconvenience.

    Evening staff (reception and bar) were exceptional, bed was really comfortable, location was fantastic yet quiet, room was clean and mould-free, shower was great.

    Didn't have breakfast as buffet seemed expensive and we've not had good experiences of buffet breakfasts (would have preferred the option of ordering freshly-made to order). Some of the day staff were quite unfriendly, especially when we had to keep asking for my keycard to be made useable again.

    Very friendly reception staff .Lovely clean room.

    Breakfast service poor. Not shown where the drinks facility was. When I eventually found it there where no cups I had to ask ? The first cup I selected was dirty & stained .No coissaints out on the buffet.

    Clean room and other parts of hotel. Well organized. Friendly staff. Good reasonably priced food. Excellent TV in both choice of channels and quality of picture.

    No shaver point or loo brush in room. Hair drier mounted in poor position. Bed a little hard and pillows too soft. Room furniture a bit basic. Hotel has little atmosphere - a bit like staying in a hospital.

    Friendly staff at reception and in the kitchen.

    Room very hot. Could not cool it down by turning off heater and opening windows. No fresh fruit at breakfast. All the cereals had sugar added to them (bad). No brown toast available. No mushrooms. Tomatoes were from a tin.

    "Good central location, hotel was warm and bed was comfortable, which is all I really needed." (107904751)

    Hotel was clean and good value for money. Big comfy bed and decent shower pressure.

    Heater in room was noisy and kept waking me up. Check in computer didn't work when I got there and I was therefore not on the breakfast list in the morning.

    friendly helpful staff.Generous rooms sizes. Convenient location close to shops handy car parking.lovely breakfast good value

    Evening meal slightly dissappointing.
