    Aircon not functional. Poor ventilation. Windows could not be opened. Decoration very poor. Water stains on ceiling.

    Extremely good value for money. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly. especially the Breakfast staff. We stayed at a hotel near the Royal Albert Hall which cost more than 3 times the amount that we paid for the Hilton the following night. I would most certainly stay at the Hilton Croydon again.

    Only bad point was having to walk past people smoking outside the main doors. It would have been better to have a designated smoking area.

    excellent breakfasts

    asked for single beds not available. Rooms not cleaned untill afternoon No clean cups. Staff had a lot of difficulty finding a room for us until 3.30.

    Staff very friendly and professional

    The 'Hilton' name is what draws you in, but the hotel is extremely dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. Also, the window in my room has been fixed shut, causing the room to be extremely hot. I dread to think how hot it would be in the depths of summer. The room had no air conditioning so a health and safety issue!

    The air-con did not work properly.Making the room too hot.

    Very slow service at bar, only one person to do drinks, take food orders, go to kitchen for the food and clear tables. Waited 15 minutes to be served.

    excellent friendly staff

    no porters so no one really to assist with bags, and I was there for shopping. however hotel staff were very helpful. house keep not very good often forgot to replace items or forget to clean parts of the room

    the bed was really nice and the hotel was lovely.

    We had no milk in the room for our tea.
