GREAT VIEW FROM SUPERIOR ROOM. VERY QUIET. EASY PARKING ADJACENT AT WEEK-ENDS.
LACK OF EN-SUITE FACILITIES. NO LOCKING FACILTY FOR ROOM DOOR. BEING ROOM ONLY, BETTER SEATING AND SMALL TABLE TO PROVIDE OWN B/FAST SNACKS WOULD BE USEFUL

"The whole episode spoiled our trip to the borders,which is a lovely area. It is apparent that it is about making as much money as possible,whilst offering as little service as neccesary." (108713167)
Large room,but no en-suite facilities,and we were sharing the facilities we had with young members of the owners family.
Advertised as pets welcome for no extra charge.When we were in the room,we were told they did not like the dogs being in the room, we were asked not to give them a drink in the room,and they expected them to sleep in the car which was parked in a public car park.This was complete mis-representation in their advert,as no aspect of the attitude encouraged or welcomed dogs in to the premises. There was no key to our room and the family went out for the night leaving the door unlocked,which made us feel very vunerable. The room had a musty smell and was very expensive considering no breakfast facilities were available. I was never offered a receipt for payment made,which had to be in cash!
