    Clean modern and good breakfast.Complaint dealt with politely and efficiently.

    First room had been contaminated by a smoker.This was not picked up by cleaners even though the smoke allarm had been covered. Lighting so poor in second room the safety instructions on the inside of the door could not be read.No booking regestered from internet even though booked in august.

    Good location, good price, comfortable room and good bathroom facilities

    We had to ask for extra towels, the service at the bar was very slow and as the hotel did not have a car park, the car parking arrangements were not clear.

    "Very convenient for public transport and city centre but quiet. As room was available we were unexpectedly allowed in early and were able to leave our luggage in a secure place after vacating our room. Pleased to have a good sprinkling of local staff, with Yorkshire accents and approach, although all staff were friendly and efficient." (108113816)

    Friendly helpful staff. I liked the idea of liquid soap/shampoo dispensers - less wasteful.

    Poor parking. No drop off zone in front of hotel - only space is a bus stop. Towel rail & soap dispensers too high.

    All staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was really good and could be eaten at a leisurely pace (breakfast 0700-1000 eg)

    Smell of cooking when entering the hotel.

    "Excellent, we got £49/nt introductory offers and got an absolute steal. This is a really nice hotel, perfectly located, friendly staff and really tastefully furnished." (107843966)

    Brand New, right in centre of town, easy to find and cheap weekend car parking directly opposite (£9 for 24 hours)

    Breakfast was expensive, but that didn't really matter as it was middle of town.

    The rooms are lovely, staff friendly and helpful, and it was just a really great place to stay.

    I couldn't sleep because people were so noisy in the corridors! The guys I was travelling with also had this problem. I think it'd be helpful if we could have called reception to get something done about this, as I felt bad for asking the people to keep it down - but it was going on from 2 to 4 in the morning! This noise happened on all 3 nights that I stayed.

    "this hotel was in a good spot 10 mins from the train station. Staff were very helpful, ordered us a taxi etc. Very clean... nice powerful shower.... really good value for the price!" (107414804)
