Confirmed two night stay by email, when arrived was told we could only have one night. We didnt even get the original room we had 'booked'for that one night. After an 8 hour drive with a 16 month old toddler!!! Didn't get extra pull out bed or extra bed linen when we asked and one of us had to sleep on the floor.

The room was good, the food in the evening was excellent. The breakfast was very good. The staff were mostly very friendly, and nothing too much trouble for them.
The girl who checked us in was professional but not what i would call friendly. The room needed somewhere to hang a couple of coathangers, maybe a couple of hooks on the back of the door?

Evening carvery was good
Breakfast service was atrocious - I had to leave hotel by 9.30am but did not get my breakfast until 9.45 am - after informing staff of my early departure This made me late for my meeting and really defeated the object of staying overnight

Staff friendly. Room clean. Food good.
Old TV (non digital) No alternative fire escape.(This alone would stop me staying again) Breakfast not served until 9am to 11am. (No good for an early start)

We stayed a Saturday night and were pleased to be given a room in the Annexe which was around the corner in a different street from the pub. The pub itself was busy and often has live music, so could be quite noisy on occasion. The room had a kitchenette which would be really useful for families with very young children or those staying for longer periods. Room was spacious and clean.
There was no curtain or blind over the window in the kitchenette, which was disturbing to my son when he was trying to go to sleep, and to all of us early in the morning - the room looked as though it had been recently refurbished, so it's possible this will be rectified soon. Soundproofing between the floors could be improved - we could hear the people in the room above, and their television, very clearly.

"Room was a bit on the small side but okay for one night.Could have done with a mirror in the room,the only one was in the toilet.The room was fresh and tastefully decorated with matching curtains and bed throws.The staff all friendly and very helpful.The food was excellent." (107866162)

Very easy to find. Restaurant food excellent. Friendly staff.
Traffic noise from road outside. Room above the bar/kitchen door? which was banging constantly until midnight.

Food was excellent as was the breakfast in the morning, The room was spotless and it had all the items i required in it ,Staff were so friendly, Really smart place,

"not realy a good experance had a meal in the hotel was very poor also we did not have breakfast as the cooks finger nails were filfy and we both felt this was not good and we both felt unwell after the meal the night before" (107839779)

Just opened and they have a few very small openning problems, no hairdryer, no bin in the room,no wardrobe but a kitchen unit?.we stayed in the court yard room which was fine, we did see one of the upstairs rooms and it did look very small.
no bad points as long as they address the little points we have pointed out

"Apart from the noise it was a nice place to stay." (107586066)
Room was clean, warm and comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate, the shower was very nice. Clean towels and toiletries were provided.
There was no bin or anywhere to hang your coat. Due to the position of the room I could hear loud music from the pub. It started mid morning and went on until late at night. I didn't get too annoyed about this at first as it was xmas eve on my first night and it was nice that people were enjoying themselves but it did get a bit much after 3 nights.

Hotel very clean and comfortable
No bad points as such would have liked a pot of tea with breakfast also fresh milk but on saying that we did not ask if that was possible, but would ask when we stay there again.
