  VERY small room for three people. Running water down stairwell. Cracks in walls of rooms.

  "Would not stay there again. Another couple booked in on the Friday night and left early Saturday morning saying it was disgusting in the hotel. The hotel is in desparate need of updating." (107758182)

  We were not informed of the change in name from Roma to Roker, which proved a problem finding the hotel. Staff not helpful when we arrived and demanded money straighway. One towel between four people for the weekend. They said we should take our own. There were 6 of us altogther in two rooms. Mattresses were uncomfortable, no underblankets, sheets did not fit and bed covers and carpets looked dirty. We were also told that we should be paying twice the rate. Breakfast only served between 9 - 9.30. 30 mins is not enough time to serve everyone. Standard of food was poor. Shower door was not fixed, so could not close it.

  "enjoyed our stay in blackpool but would not go back to this guest house looked ok on the website but was nothing like the pictures in reality" (108100040)

  bed linen was clean and bathroom was reasonably clean,breakfast was ok but did worry that the kitchen was probably as dirty as the rest of the hotel

  whole of the hotel was full of clutter looked dirty and felt grubby, bedroom very shabby and dusty

  Sorry to say no good points

  The hotel needs a complete makeover it is very shabby, dirty (I had no loo roll for one day) there was mould on all the surfaces in the bathroom

  "It was liveable for 1 night although have stayed in hostels better off and cleaner for far less money. " (107673524)

  The parking!

  Had 3 different rooms, 1st one was wrong booking and given a double rm, second the window seal was non existent and room freezing 3rd room ok, although television not working, shower barely warm with no power, sweet wrappers on floor.

  no one about to even check you in had to wait for breakfast we all felt a bit silly just sitting in the dining room till someone noticed we were there .

  Good friendly staff, Lovely breakfast.

  Rooms abit small, View wasn't the best looking into another room.

  small room sh ower needed a very good clean. breakfast poor.hotel also smelt of cigaretes and smoke this is not a good advert for the hotel

  everything was in need of refurbishment, breakfast was reasonable except for the toast which was eitherv only browned on one side or had been overdone and scraped.

  "It was cheap so we we got what we paid for but it doesn't excuse a takeaway box under the bed. We were the only people staying there & we were asked to come for breakfast at 09.30 but our food had been cooked some time in advance." (107472271)

  Welcoming friendly courteous man, happy to supply things that werent in the room. Lovely view from room.

  Only 1 small towel supplied. Room had litter & dust under beds.Bathroom ceiling tile loose, blind panels missing, windowsill dirty. No teaspoons. Breakfast - food not freshly cooked, orange juice very watery.
