"Quite pleasant apart from struggling up 3 flights of stairs!" (108965832)

Staff pleasant . Room spacious and comfortable.

Staff didn't read the note I put on the reservation - that I would prefer a lower room due to difficulties climbing stairs and I was given a room on the top floor!!

Friendly staff, clean modern communal areas. Good food.

Decor was slightly worn in the room. The room hadn't been properly tidied from the last guest. There was a hairbrush and a nightdress still in the room.

The staff were lovely and the service excellent. Breakfast was very tasty and fast, we ate in the Bistro 1 night and the food and service was excellent. Overall the hotel had a lovely welcoming and comfy feel, we had a lovely stay.

We asked for another room as the 1st one allocated was not too good. The room we stayed in was fine, a bit shabby and in need of updating, a few annoying things like no remote for TV and noisy heating, for the price I think freeview should be standard, needed for long cold wintery nights. It was clean, warm and comfy.
