    "Great experience. I really recommend to stay there." (108915252)

    The room was clean, facilities were good, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helped me a lot. I can't believe to be able to stay such a nice hotel with quite cheap price!

    They don't have an elevator but no problem to me.

    "Could not have been better" (108956191)

    This was an excelent B&B, very nice, rooms very big,very friendly and helpful staff and location in the middle of Edinburghwas just brilliant for all of us.

    No parking,but thi is not a problem as there is a NCP parking-house just across the street.

    Very large room, great view of city. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good.

    It was on the fourth floor and no lifts to that floor. It can be a struggle for anyone with leg or hip issues. I believe there may be barrier free access to some of the lower floor rooms. So check.

    Great hotel in a very good location. Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was also good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

    No hairdryer in the room.

    The common areas, the hotel room and the bathrooms were very clean. The room had a very nice atmosphere, I loved the old furniture that stood out agianst the white walls. It was very nice that there was a tv in the room.

    Sharing a bathroom. I don't mind sharing anything, I'm one of two sister so sharing comes naturally. What I do mind is selfish, mindless people. I stayed on the first floor which has 3 rooms, mine a single room, then a room with 3 guests that supposidly had an en suite and a room with a 3 person family. I was reasured that I would therefore be sharing a bathroom with 3 other ppl as the others would be using their en suite. Well let me tell you that was not to be. I had to wait until 2 in the morning each night and put my bladder through a hell of a test, as the girls from the ensuite room decided they were going to use to common bathroom as well....2 hours each.

    Great warm british breakfast. Nice room and delicate furnitures. Helpful stuff Free internet WiFi connection, which is not stated in the advertisement great location

    No elevator, might be difficult for disable people.

    helpfulness and friendliness of staff, very accomodating to my time schedule in the morning, having breakfast ready. Room was kept clean, with regular change of bedlinen and towels.Excellent location form Princes street.Good choice at breakfast, able to accomodate a vegetarian choice also.

    long flight of stairs to room, would have been difficult for someone less able.

    Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, 5 minutes walk from Royal Mile, good choice at breakfast, fast and friendly table service. Ensuite WC/shower room and facilities in the room were also beautifully clean and very good.

    Not suitable for guests who cannot climb up and down stairs - 68 steps to the top floor and no lift. No hairdryer in room, although one could be borrowed from the manager.

    "Really wonderful base from which to enjoy Edinburgh" (107322482)

    Excellent spacious accomodation; clean and very comfortable. Great welcome from the host, who was flexible about breakfast times to accomodate marathon runners.

    None - all excellent.

    convenient location, including transfers from/to the airport (less than 10 minutes from the Waverly Bridge where the airport bus stop and the main point for several tourist hop-on/hop-off busses is situtated) and proximity to the city centre

    no elevator, so had to hand-carry my luggage to the 3rd floor; it took quite a while for the boiler shower in the room to settle the temperature, until then the water turned cold and hot in turns

    "Would be happy to recommend" (107523693)

    I arrived and was greated with a smile and an offer of tea coffee. I wanted to leave my bag - no problem - and did fancy a coffee. When the coffee arrived I was told my room would be ready by the time my coffee was finished. Accommodation new and looked wonderful. Great location for exploring Edinburgh. Good breakfast with a good selection for help yourself buffet.

    No hair dryer in room - forgot to check on arrival.
