    "Enjoyed the golf most of all. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Whole hotel is in need of an upgrade. Could be superb in this location with right facilities." (108175981)

    Friendly staff. Excellent golf course with great sea views.Comfy beds.

    Overall rather dowdy appearance inside and outside. Tennis court needed new net and weeding, was sub-standard.Exterior windows needed painting and cleaning.Our bathroom tiles needed cleaning. Swimming pool not adequately heated. Breakfast was self service and already cooked. Hotel of this standard should allow guests to have breakfast cooked to order. Over-priced dinner menu, decided to eat out.

    Staff generally friendly and the room was adequate, clean and reasonably comfortable for a short stay.

    The hotel gave a 'tired' impression - rotting window ledges, old fixtures and fittings. Service at breakfast was slow. Needed to be away from the hotel early - just after 8am on the Saturday - and breakfast did not start until then. Can understand this on a Sunday but not a Saturday.

    Staff very helpful and friendly. All rooms seem to have their own personality, which was nice! Gym looked good although we didn't use it. The pool was perfect temp!

    Although clean throughout some rooms/areas look a bit tired.

    Noise after midnight was totally unacceptable; customer service was below average e.g. the initial welcome and the breakfast service.

    "We were the only guests in the hotel on the night we stayed, and in my experience when things aren't busy you tend to take your eye off the ball, and this is what happened with the breakfast. It was a shame - but it wouldn't put me off staying again, I've recommended it to loads of people as we both thought that the staff and the room were just wonderful." (107839771)

    Friendly and welcoming staff, fantastic room it took my breath away! Beautiful hotel in a good location, from which you can easily tour Norfolk.Loads of character.

    Booked hotel as there was a pool which wasn't working Breakfast was over cooked, a newly fried egg was placed on top of an egg which had been precooked, sausages were burnt and we couldn't eat them. No glasses for breakfast juice out, no grapefruit segments.

    "Clean, spacious, light and well-appointed room. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location was good and easy to find. Fantastic value room. Food excellent & fairly priced for what you get even though the menu sounds pricey." (107310250)

    Good Value. Large quiet warm room.

    Old fashioned in need of update. Round pin electrical sockets brought back childhood memories! Some details need improving eg dead flowers. Dinner good but expensive unless on the DB&B rate
