    "Nice bed, nice shower. That's about it. If I ever need to to Bristol again (this was my first visit there) I'd pay a bit more and stay elsewhere at a place that provides, at a minimum, free-to-air TV." (108310349)

    Very comfortable bed, good shower with high water pressure.

    I was on the fourth floor. At that floor, the lift doors wouldn't open, and, no matter which button I pressed, nothing happened. So, after I'd pressed the alarm button, and got back to ground, time to try again. Lift worked OK. Then, the card wouldn't open the room door, so, back to ground again to get it reset. I was also surprised to find that if I wanted to watch the TV it would be part of a bundled package at £10 a night. If I go to a hotel and want the wifi, or the on-demand movies, or the "adult" stuff, sure, I'd expect to pay for that. I wasn't interested in any of them, all I wanted was to put on something like Sky News (a Freeview channel) and I certainly wasn't going to pay £10 just for two hours of free-to-air TV. The breakfast also ended at 10am, so, when I left the hotel around 11:20, I went round the corner to the Wetherspoon's pub which does breakfast till noon, perfectly adequately, for £2.70, less than half your price.

    Overall I was happy with the hotel.

    I had to wait quite a while to check in and the receptionist was not very apologetic about the wait.

    Very clean , obviously very new.The ensuite shower/toilet very modern design. Staff were helpful.

    Car park was across aroad and on some rough ground. A little complex to get in your car.

    Clean, efficient, good meal facilities, with a friendly helpful service.

    No list of available facitities e.g. hair drier. The shower gel container was empty. Car parking was a problem in that we were parked in an open area with pools of rain water all around. Also it was a reasonable walk from the hotel - in the pouring rain not good!!

    Excellent value for money; clean, new facilities and efficient and helpful staff, excellent location to walk to city centre destinations or access local buses

    Although not in the control of the hotel, the walk from the train station, although short and clear and well lit, is through paths and a parking lot that presents significant safety risks because of lack of traffic and isolation, especially for a sole pedestrian with luggage. I would not advise it on foot after business hours for women alone or men or women alone burdened by luggage or with cameras, laptop or cash.

    General atmosphere in the Hotel was good.Breakfasts were very good.

    I rang the hotel before visit to say I had a Disabled person with me and what parking facilities for such. I was told to go to the recommended Car Park. For loading and unloading this was not acceptable,directions to the car park were poor and this sytem of phoning to book parking was also very poor.Why does the Hotel not give you a parking ticket to display in the Car and you pay or otherwise the hotel.I would not recommend this hotel for any one with a disability travelling by car.

    Really modern, up to date hotel, suprisngly good value for money. Comfy bed Fabulous shower! Clean, modern and comfortable Very patient staff considering we were on a hen party

    Excellent room, very clean, close to railway station especially with newly constructed bridge.

    Car parking in Temple Quay for Ibis is at specially negotiated rate of £7 per day. However, the Temple Meads Train Stn Car Park only 100 yds further away is £4 per day (weekends) and £6 per day (weekdays); all options should be advertised to customers. The Temple Quay car park may put off Ibis customers due to its expense

    Bathroom facility excellent, clean and comfortable with good service and breakfast with really pleasant and helpful staff.

    Although it was known that the hotel had air con trouble, this was not made known until arrival. A hotel next to a main station with the only option to sleep with open windows in order to facilitate airflow is noisy and poor value for money. I will not recommend or book there again.

    Staff were excellent, polite and courteous

    No air conditioning in room , found out on arrival not working, to generate air flow had window open, very noisy as next door to temple meads. Would not have stayed if I had known this earlier, no discussion regarding issue as was in hurry to leave.

    comfortable and nice getaway

    layout of the breakfast was unclear arrived for my pre paid breakfast at 10 30 to be told it had finished even thouhg late riser breakfast was still being served i didn't get my full english !! plus an earful from the missus for getting up late so a more precise layout of the menu explantion and what is consists of would be useful.

    The air conditioning unit in my room became noisy, and when I complained I was quickly transferred to another room. Later on I realised I had left something behind in the first room (very small radio), and it was quickly and efficiently retrieved.

    Staff were very polite and helpful.

    could have used napkins in the breakfast room and a bin so people could despose of their cereal boxes instead of leaving them on the breakfast counter. Also there wasn't a lot of choice on the menu and it was a bit pricey. Also it was a shame that the hotel didn't have the use of a car park and that guests had to pay for one nearby.

    Newly built hotel, very clean and tidy, easy access from railway station and close to restaurants, pubs and shops in new development.

    None really, although like many facilities in Bristol, this hotel is a considerable walk from the main city centre amenities but transport links are good.

    Close to train station, Weatherspoons round the corner, rooms nice and big.

    Difficult at first to figure out how to access the hotel due to current building work No twin rooms or ability to add extra beds despite there being enough room

    The staff were very friendly, everything was neat and tidy and after accidentally leaving my mobile in the room, they held onto it at the reception for me to collect. It was also in a great location, easy to walk into the centre of Bristol.

    We had to go down to pick up anything additional (extra pillows), they were not able to bring it up to the room. There was no power points near the bedside tables.

    Car parking is the main problem with this hotel - completely inadequate. Also the price is far too high for what's on offer - the rooms don't even have carpet.
