  "This hotel is mainly aimed at the business traveller and gets occupied mostly during the weekdays, so some bargains are to be had at the weekend. We were upgraded to a mini suite because we complained at being given a twin room when we had booked a double. This room, on the 11th floor, had a stunning view of the gothic Agramonte Cemetary as well as the some of the more modern side of Porto. Published rate was 260 Euro but we paid 72 Euro per night for the room inc Continental Breakfast. The room was huge and it appears as if there was some sort of kichenette in the room although it was locked. Good clean bathroom with shower over bath, bidet and toilet. Average, but nice toiletries. Breakfast was good both in quantity and quality. Bacon and sausage plus scrambled or boiled eggs added to the very fresh rolls made a good start to the day. Across the road is a good cafe, the Convivio, which stays open until 2am where you can get anything from a snack to a 3 course meal." (97626696)

  Good value for money, especially at the weekend rates.

  Most of the rooms appear to be twin bedded, so you have to ask for a double bed.
