My room 121 was very smelly (a strong mouldy damp odour and clearly not a new or undiscovered problem). The sofa in my romm was filthy (please have a look). The night poter on my first night was very unfriendly and grumpy). The decor of the hotel was i bit on the shabby side.Reception staff were slow and seemed somewhat disorganised.

"I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, and the hotel housekeeping was perfect, however as I mentioned the beds are not very comfortable, and therefore not very restful. I would return again, without hesisation provided some of my suggestions regarding comfortable bedding were in place. What can I say I like my comfort!!!, which I consider to be very much a part of value for money." (107363641)
Very lovely old hotel, with excellent staff. Customer Service is a priority. Super leisure centre, and Spa. Lovely wooded surroundings.
comfort in the bedrooms is at a minimum, this hotel's bedrooms are in dire need of some TLC. It doesnt have to cost a lot all that is needed is some nice new comfortable beds with nice fluffy quilts and fluffy pillows. Basically the decor is ok and nicely co-ordinated quilts with current decor would work.

Nice room, clean and well maintained. Lovely pool and leisure facilities. Polite and friendly on arrival.
Receptionist on departure not as friendly as on check-in. Seemed rather curt!
