    "Fine for business stopover" (108377382)

    Comfortable bed. Reasonably quiet despite close proximity to Dublin Airport. Quite liked the bar area with Sky Sports showing football.

    Breakfast not particularly good quality and the restaurant felt a bit dirty - sticky table, food that had fallen on the floor had not been picked up.

    Good clean rooms and good shuttle service.

    The food in the lounge bar was atrocious. We stayed there before and it was lovely but this time the menu was changed and really bad.

    Staff very pleasant. Hotel very good standard. Excellent free transport too and from airport.

    The soap dispenser in the bathroom basin did not work. No food when we arrived. Perhaps suggest packs of biscuits and cheese or bread/fruit pack to purchase at the bar for people arriving late at night as we did.

    "The service and welcome we recieved on our arrival was excellent, I think the gentleman's name behind reception was Gary, I had called the hotel also the previous night to find out information on buses, arrival time at hotel etc. and I spoke with the same gentleman, on both occasions he could not have been more helpful."     Overall i thought the Hotel itself was really lovely, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent, good value for money.

    The hotel was not well signposted and it took us quite a while to locate it, also i had called the hotel for directions on my way there and i was put on hold for such a long period of time that my phone credit ran out! The food in the hotel was excellent, but there was a situation on the evening of our stay where we had ordered dinner in the restaurant and my partners main course came back wrong twice! (he had ordered a med-rare steak) the first time it came back it was almost blue, and the second time it came back it was overdone, we were charged for this main course, even though he did not get to eat it, we were given our starters complimentary, but really this was not to my satisfaction.

    Very large room with comfortable beds. Extremely quiet despite being near to airport.

    Car park charges not included in cost of room.

    Objectively, almost everything fine. Very cool feature where the centre of the bathroom mirror was treated so that it picked up no condensation.

    Hotel had almost no character, despite being objectively good in almost every respect. Guinness very expensive (4.95 Euros per pint)

    "The hotel was nice, clean and spacious and the large bar and lounge area were ideal to accomodate the guests from the significant number of rooms. Altogether, a pleasant stay." (107957272)

    The design, age and location of the hotel were particular good points. I thought in the main, the staff were pleasant, informative and knowledgeable.

    On the downside, the latest checkout of 1pm was poor particularly travelling with my pregnant partner and our return flight to Scotland not departing until 9pm that night. Also, on arrival I booked a late checkout of 1pm for 1/03/09, yet we were interupted by room cleaning staff then a second time by a manager doing a room check. I had to inform him we had a late checkout booked and although he remained pleasant, it should not have happened.

    On the booking confirmation reference 107238249 pin code 1287 the price of the continental breakfast is clearly given as ?6.95 per person whereas the actual price in the restaurant was ?9.00.

    Near airport, with shuttle bus - excellent service

    Didn't get a wink of sleep! room quite warm, but i don't think I can blame the hotel!

    Fresh, simple, uncluttered

    One remark on lounge/casual dining area - it needs intimacy - perhaps some large plants above eye-level or colored partitioning.

    Bed comfort good. Bed Linen adequate. Shower good. Bathroom cleansers - soap, shampoo etc barely adequate, (I had no personal shampoo left after an extended vacation, so had no choice but to use what was provided).Room was of good dimensions and perfectly turned out. For the price-very good value.

    "Close to airport, it was out 1st night & we arrived late so it was ideal just to get some food and drinks at the hotel before sleeping off the flight ready for the next day. We stayed here for one night only & moved into the centre of Dublin for the rest of our stay as this hotel is quite far away from all of the tourist attractions. Costs about 20 euros to get into the centre which isn't bad but not ideal if you want to go in each day/night!" (97403898)

    It was clean, well arranged and everything was in working order.

    Took quite a while to work out the ironing system, so some instructions on the wall would be good. It was frustrating, and when you are tired from travelling, you don't want challenges!

    "The hotel is great, new ,fresh and comfortable. The rooms are big and spacius. I really like the design and the closeness to the airport and the city is good. Did not like the fact that you need to pay extra for breakfast and parking. Feel that this is services you should have for choosing your hotel to stay in. I Travel a lot around the world and Dublin is the only place in the world were the hotels charge extra for this services and thats quite poor considering its a very expensive city. But overall im very happy with my stay and would definately come back." (97171387)

    The rooms were big and comfortable

    I think its a bit poor to have to pay extra for breakfast and parking, this is the only city were you actually have to do that.
