    very nice rooms.very nice staff and breakfast excellent

    we asked for a double room and got 2 single beds joined together very uncomfortable

    "Dissapointing. The staff didn't seem to smile, be friendly and take on board the problems I'd reported. i.e. shower was cold and radiater not working making the room temp cold. Also it was my partners birthday and and she has recently been quite ill so the lack of hot water was very really not good. I informed the hotel of my partners birthday and also of problems with the room and absolutely nothing was done about it. Also asked for refunds and I have heard nothing also. I can only say that the place has very very bad cusomer care/ service. " (107944554)

    The bed was comfortable, T.V worked ok , also Breakfast and Library bar was ok.

    The Radiator did not work. The shower only ran cold water . The staff were unhelpful as they did not help get problems sorted after I'd reported them and they said they could do.

    -good service and information at reception -central location within the city

    -single glass in bedroom resulted in a lot of noise from a nightclub and a ventilation system outside

    good location not to far from temple bar and city centre . easy to find also easy access to the hotel.

    Good full length bed and crisp duvet cover. Excellent newly modernised bathroom.

    Could be noisy at night with night club clentele spilling out onto street below.

    "Was only in hotel a very short time, purpose of stay was concert so little time was spent in hotel. Bar food was nice and breakfast was ok." (97200179)

    Hotel was Very Central to city centre.

    Checking in was very slow, No restaurant facilities were available after 4pm (Sunday). Room was extremely noisy during the nite (near nightclub)

    "Really central to everything and rooms were very well decorated. We were all very happy with our stay in the hotel apart from the cold rooms. Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!!!" (97220377)

    I loved that it was central and walking distance to the bars. The rooms seemed to be just renovated and they were lovely and modern. I was pleased with my stay there and would definitely stay again in the future.

    The rooms were very cold. There was no heating in my room at all. I was disappointed in this although I was still able to sleep peacefully that night. A few of the girls felt that the windows were terrible and they could hear everything going on outside.

    "Before booking I would have liked to have known when the restraunt was open as we arrived at 9pm at night and then had to go and find somewhere to eat as they refused to serve us at 9.05pm." (97408326)

    The location to the Temple Bar was excellent.

    Noisy at night, Shower did not work, we were unable to obtain food at lunch time and at dinner the food could only be purchased up until 9pm

    The Hotel was very Central but was far enough away from Temple Bar so that it was not too noisy

    The radiator was not working making silly noises and though shower lovely and hot, it did not have very good water pressure.

    "Reasonable as long as your not a light sleeper. Street cleaning and bottle / beer barrel collection takes place from 05:00 - 06:30. Breakfast is quite good. Don't bother with a meal in the Exchequer bar, the staff and food are below par." (97211612)

    "Great place IF you aren't bothered about staying in chic lodgings or if you want to be in the centre of Dublin. If however, you want a swanky pad, then you might as well look a bit further outside the city or go for a newer/chain hotel." (99883571)

    The location is great for a city break; off Grafton Street and less than a minute from Temple Bar. Despite its central location, it's not too noisy. The staff were helpful and courteous and the hotel itself was relatively clean.

    The hotel charges 'city centre' prices but could do with being brought into the 21st century. The rooms are rather dowdy and cobbled together - it feels like you are staying at your Gran's.

    Convenience to City Centre

    Poor quality room. No air-conditioning, conditions stifling in the room, very tiny window to open. Noise from adjoining premises all night. Cooking smells entering room.

    Comfortable pleasant room, good beds, very lovely and interesting part of town, pleasant staff,

    A little noisy for a short time at night, I think when the pubs closed. Bathroom sink that drained very slowly.

    "Location - happy that the hotel was very central for seeing the sights. Single rooms - mine was a bit shabby but my fathers was not. Hotel - Breakfast included in the price was good plus there was is a bar even though it shuts at 11.30" (99167287)

    Location was very good for Temple Bar, Trinity College and Grafton Street. It was good to be able to get a breakfast in the hotel.

    My room had a chair where the fabric was so worn away, you could see the sponge , plus I struggled with the shower. First day it was freezing and the next it was too hot and I could not seem to be able to regulate the temperature. which was a pity since the room my Dad had, he could not find fault with.

    i found both the shower and hair dyer in the room to be very poor
