    The resption staff and the bar staff were friendly and helpful

    Breakfast very good, location excellent

    Room was very dirty, electrical cables taped together are very dangerous. TV we couldnt get to work, the standard of the room is not value for money. Overall money should be spent on the rooms or at least employ a cleaner

    Location of hotel was good. Room not too big, but had all we needed. Irish breakfast selection very nice.

    Staircases were a bit steep and narrow, although that didn't bother us too much.

    "the hotel is centrally located and near to tara street dart station which is across the river liffey the staff are very knowledgable about the local area, the attractions and the local bus service i would definitley recommend the hotel has a good value for money hotel " (97399660)

    the breakfast choices was very good and the staff helpful and polite especially the lafy who delt with the receptopn area the staff in the pub downstairs were very helpful and the food good value for money

    the lift was not working and had not been for some time, where my room was located above a alley way and next to a fire exit i would advise that when booking this hotel to ask for a lopw floor the reception is up two flights of stairs

    The room was clean and the food was good

    The room was very worn as was the bathroom, cracked tiles, worn carpets large cracks in the ceiling etc There also was not a lift so we had to carry out daughter up the stairs in her pushchair

    the front desk staff both afternoon and evening were aboslutely brillant, they were so helpful and friendly and the location is very good

    We were on the fourth floor and there was no lift available, we have a young child so that was difficult. But it was the rooms, they were absolutely terrible, the curtins were really dirty and the facilities were old and botched to say the least, would not recommend the hotel over all,

    "Other than the minor problem at check in, all problems were easily rectified. I didn't really have a problem with the noise on Friday & Saturday night as I had worn myself out during the day. Staff were very friendly and the full Irish breakfast was excellent. " (108033407)

    Very reasonable for the price. Central. All facilities worked. Breakfast excellent.

    Said check in 14.00 on itinery. They said 14.30 when I arrived. As a result room not serviced. I was allowed to leave baggage in room. However when I returned in the evening, even though the room had been cleaned, I had to go to reception to get pillow cases and towels as the cleaner had forgotten these. Hotel incorporates a public bar and on Friday and Saturday night, an early night was inpossible. But this is Dublin!

    This hotel was horrendous. By far the filthiest place i have ever seen.

    This is not a hotel - its more of a hostel.

    "Complessivamente buono; prima di prenotare bisogna considerare che l'albergo sembra la torre di Pisa, per cui se si hanno problemi a fare tante scale è meglio optare per qualcos'altro. Se non si hanno di questi problemi e non si hanno grandi pretese allora bisogna riconoscere che l'albergo gode di una posizione comodissima a 2 min apiedi da Temple Bar e direttamente affacciato su O'Connell Bridge."     "I regularly stay in hotels all over the world My husband is on the oil riggs.The room 305 was fairly nosy with the traffic because it overlooks the Liffey, But when youve had a couple of drinks its fine..The biggest problem is the stairs..But I would stay again for sure...." (97914198)

    Close to everything we needed Temple bar and O'connell St. Breakfast was good but could could have been hotter,STAIRS were a killer,Looks like the lift was obselete..I went with my 13 yr old nephew our visit this time was to go on the ghost bus.Ive been 13 times before and stayed all over dublin.This place is No worse than any other,and the location is 10 times better than most..

    SHOWER door was so narrow,it slide open but only about 9inches ..

    It was very central to Dublin, walking distance to all events, easy access to transport + airport.

    Shower room could do with a revamp,on the whole for price its what I expected.

    "The location of the hotel is excellent, extremely central. staff are very helpful and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was very nice. However one could not get food brought up to ones room after eight. The bedrooms need to be updated and revamped but on the upside are clean and comfortable." (97876708)

    "Good value for money considering the location. Food good, rooms clean but our room would have benefited from an opening window." (97444056)

    We shared a family room which was quite a good size. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful. Great location, within easy reach of all main attractions.

    The stairs up to receiption was a bit of a pain. Our room had a window/skylight that did not open and the room really needed ventilation as it was too hot (this in February!) We had to prop open our door to get some fresh air.

    Cheap, very basic and small room, as expected. I notice most of your reviews are from people who pay 2* prices and expect 5* Treatment

    Ryanair changed the flight and I had to leave just before 8.30 so only cereal and tea/coffee was available, even though there were three staff there they said they could not supply anything cooked until the kitchen opened at 8.30, not even toast

    "Ok so its not the best place in the world but could definitely not be described as dingy,and hands down for the price could not be beaten,especially considering the location,much cleaner and nicer than a hostel and if your up before ten there's a free breakfast.Would definitely stay there again if I was going to a gig or somethiing,but not the place for a romantic weekend."     The hotel was literaly,5 mins walk from temple bar with a bus service running from directly across the river,the staff were really friendly.

    Our room was close to the top which meant walking up at least six flights of stairs,there was no lift.The radiators and room fittings including taps barely worked or could noy be turned off,no toiletries.

    It was (almost) completely silent

    The open window when I arrive in the evening and the heating was already shut down. I opened the window myself in the morning and I expected it would be closed after cleaning. Breakfast should have been more warm.

    "room was tiny for a double room, unclean. air con not working, poor lighting. we asked for another room and after much reluctance on the part of the person behind reception desk was given a key for another room. climbed 3 flights of stairs to view the room, only to open it and find the beds unmade and personal items belonging to the occupant still there. was finally given the key for another room on four floor, so all in all about 30 mins wasted trekking up and down to rooms. door from bar to hotel was blocked with tables and stack of chairs so one had to leave the premises to gain entry to accommodation part. When bar was closing downstairs we were told we could go to the residents bar upstairs, when we got there we were told to go back down to the main bar downstairs. The staff on duty were disorganised and did not seem to take any of our complaints seriously but instead responded with rudeness." (99069045)
