  great price,good friendly staff,good standardd of cleanliness

  little bit far from main centre,but what we saved on the room made up for this

  Great building, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of space in the lounge/bar areas, good breakfast, convenient location for local buses into the city centre,comfortable rooms.

  The water supply in the room was erratic - at times the water stopped altogether, (presumably when lots of guests were showering at the same time). This happened mid-shower on two occasions. The rice with my thai curry, (in the brasserie), was dry and clumped together, as it had been cooked some time earlier and kept hot.

  "I am a frequent visitor to Dublin and have stayed in many different hotels, for the price this represented good value for money and ranks highly as a three star hotel. Value for money is important given that Dublin is now such an expensive city, especially for visitors from United Kingdom." (107972834)

  Rooms spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable, so many hotels fall down on this point. Staff efficient and friendly.

  Smell of food from restaurant was oppressive in the reception area and seeped through to the rooms. General problem that guests may not be aware of is that doors to rooms do not slam shut when you walk through them. I noticed on my floor at least 3 doors that were ajar. I would advise guests to ensure the door has closed behind them when they enter or leave the room.

  "We normal book 3-5 rooms for staff during the Horse Show but certainly will not for August 09" (107935690)

  Very long check in. All carparking machines where broke. Problems with bill at bar and no manager on duty so we had to pay for a wrong bill. Reception did not want to no about problems.

  Excellent standard especially the bedroom.

  The location and services were good as was the friendly staff. We would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to others.

  When we booked the hotel we gave our credit card details and assumed that active hotels had made our reservation and deducted the cost as has happened in other instances. However when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that had not happened and that we had to pay again for our stay. Can you please confirm that this is regular?

  Roomy bar, good food in bar and restaurant and reasonable to good prices. Coffee making facilities in rooms. Can keep luggage until actual departure from Dublin Free WiFi

  WiFi reception poor to useless on upper floors

  "Overall we had a great stay. We use the RDS alot but this was our first time to stay over. The next time we will be staying over and bringing our two young kids." (107108482)

  Everything was clean & Comfortable. We felt very secure as you needed a card to gain accsess to our Floor.

  Our only complaint is that staff while very efficent, but not so frendly. They were sterile in the operation on their duties. It's always good for us to deal with people who smile and are friendly. It makes you feel at home.

  Rooms were standard. Towels in bathroom were grey from over washing instead of white.
