    "A good hotel in an excellent position with simple basic rooms where everything worked! Could improve breakfast nutrition!!" (108373029)

    Simple and adequate furniture and design in rooms (although on the small side)- not over cluttered. Good shower and hot water. Excellent position and quiet (did not hear the tube). TV was good and out of the way.

    Rooms quite small.....and the bathroom.....but did suffice! Mattress needs to be looked at - lumpy (Rm 106). Had one day luke warm water. Breakfasts could have some more nutritious foods i.e. brown/wholemeal bread, fruit, plain yogurt.

    Clean, everything works, staff helpful

    Paper thin walls and unless I'm much mistaken, there was 'subletting' going on. For instance, the room next to me was a double, but a couple of times seemed to have 4 people in it - all night... Not the fault of the staff.

    very friendly staff, feels like a big family sort off. Nice room, only bathroom a bit too small, comfortable bed, good linen. Also excellent location: 1 Min. from subway station, all shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs close by. Earls Court Subway Picadelly Line goes directly to Heathrow Airport

    bathroom very small, telephone didn't work in room, I had to make all my local calls from reception

    Friendly & helpful staff. Clean rooms.

    Breakfast was just OK - not great. Rolls were stale all 3 days we stayed.

    Location by Earl's Court station was excellent. Attractive and clean rooms (though very small - think lower deck of cruise ship).

    Two missing light bulbs in room - could not get replaced in a 4 day stay in spite of many requests. could not read in bed. No outside phone lines in room! Had to find public phone outside hotel. TINY TINY room. Poor security - only one lock on door; no deadbolt etc. Front door left wide open frequently during day. Towels were like floor rags - tattered and ready to be thrown away. Bed sheets felt like burlap. Breakfast had no fruit (continental?) and only one cereal choice.

    Central Location near underground station; Helpful and friendly Staff; Clean and New Room; Breakfast is quite good; Good value for money in one of the most expensive city of the world.

    Bathroom is too small and difficult to turn around; no fridge;

    Nice hotel, comfortable room, good location, very helpful staff.

    Sometimes a bit noisy due to the closeness of the lift motor room + the tube station. A bit difficult to move with luggage in the narrow corridors. Small shower.

    The Hotel was very accomodating, the staff were very friendly and checking in was very easy and quick.

    The breakfast was average as there wasn't much of a selection but still enjoyed it. There was a huge error with the booking as it quoted us £14 for the room which I was very suspicious of anyway and when I rang the hotel to ask it was actually £55 which is still a very good price though.

    Proximity to the Earls Court station. Easy access to the City. The very pleasant and courteous attitudes of the staff. The cleanless of the whole hotel. The hotel had an elevator.

    Only one very minor point: no shaver plug point.

    "Absolutely appalling. When we tried to check in at 10.30 am our room was not ready so they took our case and said it would be put in our room. When we returned at 8.30pm we were locked out for 20minutes and only got entry when a guest let us in but we still then waited at desk for a further 10 minutes until the receptionist returned to check us in. Our room was ultra noisy as we were backed onto the busy railway line giving us a sleepless night then were given stale, dubious looking croissants. When I asked for fresh I was told they were fresh and waitress offered to microwave them for me. Not what I had expected when i paid for this. Complained tp receptionist who said he could only knock £9 off bill. Told him not good enough and that we intended to contact agency after which a further £10 was knocked off our bill but we still feel overcharged and disappointed as this had ruined an otherwise perfect visit to London" (107598223)

    Very close to tube stations and Earl's Court Exhibition Centre Clean, comfortable room Friendly, helpful staff

    Nothing really. Very minor points are that it would have been handy to have a shower cap but got one at nearby chemist. Also only two teabags and one carton of milk but plenty of nearby shops.

    room v small (but expected that). The reception and directions of rooms need to be more clearly marked - particularly the way back to reception.
