"Lovely looking hotel facing the rising sun. Staff seemed overstretched but did their best to try to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The manager seemed to be out of her depth on occasion not helped by having a very young assistant who seemed to be learning the ropes. Overall - adequate." (108104138)
Beautiful building spoilt by being right on a very busy roundabout leading to the port. Average size room but with a tremendous balcony opening out on to the street side of the hotel. Right in the heart of the restaurant and shopping area so not too far to go to find the main street and something to eat and drink. Good internet access in the room (by cable).
Bit of an end of season, shoestring feel to the place (end of September). Had to leave my wife out in the street with the suitcases while I let them know we had arrived. Blank looks when I asked for help with the luggage. Eventually a luggage trolley was produced and the manager helped us transport our kit to the room. Breakfast was a little abstemious - not that there were many in the hotel! Air conditioning was not very good so I should imagine that in the height of a Sardinian summer it would be baking in the rooms.
