"We ended up paying £50 for the single room, but to be honest even that was too much. The staff were friendly and helpful, but i'm afraid could not compensate for the fact this Hotel is really no better quality than a cheap B&B." (107928982)
located in the centre of town
no record of our booking upon arrival (despite web confirmation). Had to therefore stay in single room, staff were helpful and hastily arranged a 'put me up' bed in the room. Room itself was clean, but very small and bathroom needed complete replacement as was more akin to a public toilet (toilet smelly and shower dripped throughout the night; only moderately warm water. Room was just off of the restaurant/ breakfast room and was therefore noisy. Window looked out into the Hotel yard. At one point someone seemed to be walking on an outbuilding outside of our room and could look straight into the room. TV had two stations and like the rest of the room, desperately needed replacement as was tired and broken.

Lovely, friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, served by attentive, friendly waitress.
NO PARKING!!!! The worst facet of this otherwise ideally situated hotel. Also minor problems with room and hallways were undecorated and spartan. Room OK, but very small - and I don't like "power showers."

Friendly staff, good food and excellently situated within the city
Rooms still seem to be being done up and are not serviced on a daily basis eg. cleaning, replenishment of refreshments, towels etc.

The staff were polite and the place was clean.
The staff were not neatly dressed and nobody appeared to be in the dining room in the morning to assist with breakfast. I don't particularly like paper napkins and table covers.
