    "The hotel is ideal for a overnight stay as it is centrally located with free parking and easy access. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but rather basic. Short walk into town. Staff are very friendly too. " (108529735)

    The location was very close to the port, and had free car parking. Breakfast provides a great range of items including cereals, fruit, toast, and continential foods.

    No Lift, but as only 2 floors not too bad - some of the bathrooms are a little compact!

    "Our two days in Boulogne were very pleasant. There is quite a bit to see and there was a good choice of restaurants and cafes." (108225672)

    The hotel was in a good location for visiting the town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. we felt that the outside appearance of the hotel could have been more appealing, perhaps a freshen-up. The definite plus was the free parking facilities allowed by the hotel.

    The bathroom facilities were very small with a concertina door and this let the room down. We also felt that the breakfast was a little over-priced.

    "Very good place for the money." (108279479)

    A good locoation for shops and bars.

    The shower was a bit small-I am not fat but i could not squeeze into the corner cubital, my girlfreind just about got in.

    For the price, it was good. The location for the beach, centre city, and naussica were all easy walking distance. Free parking was a plus. If you plan on only using the room for showering and sleep this hotel was worth it. If you will be spending a lot of time in the facility pay a little more for the added ammenities.

    Sleeping on the main street side of the building was not good. The view was great because you can clearly see the beautiful cathedral (day & night). There seemed to be traffic and trucks all night long. My husband and 6 yr old slept through it like babies, I on the other hand was up every time I heard a loud motor.

    Pleasant, caring staff. The Manager was very kind and most helpful when my wife tripped and fell on the nearby bridge and dislocated an elbow, and he called the Ambulance. His command of English was a great advantage.

    Good restaurant (try the pinot noir!). Proximity to ferry. Pay upfront for quick getaway.

    No Lift. Shower very basic, small entrance. Dont be pushed around for eating times.

    clean, inexpensive, close to port.

    noisy if in front room -window had to be kept open as no air conditioning therefore LOTS of traffic noise + noise from disco. Would have enjoyed coffee making facilities in the room as we were leaving before breakfast was available.

    Handy for Boulogne Port and town, parking adjacent to hotel.

    Some outside noise during the night, bathroom rather basic.

    Plenty of free parking space. Room, bedding and toilet/shower room very clean. Good view of the marina/harbour and Cathedral up in the old town.

    Plastic folding door to toilet/shower room very flimsy and coming away from the wall - should be a more solid door for privacy. The toilet flush mechanism broke (but this was quickly fixed when we reported it)

    Convenient situation for seeing Boulogne on foot. Clean and had all we needed-comfortable beds and ensuite. Very good value.

    Although we managed to park OK, directions for parking shpould be made clearer as one approaches the hotel. This is important as it is in a one-way street and a long detour has to be made to get back.

    "Okay for an overnight stay. Couldn't do it for much longer. Felt the price you paid was quite expensive for the hotel facilities,etc., but realise it was because you are so close to everything - no travelling needed. As they say, location, location, location!!" (107434080)

    Good location - close to the town and everywhere. Fairly pretty port. Not far from Calais, where we arrived (20 minutes). The hotel had very good parking. The breakfast was very good - great variety. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was surprisingly powerful; although if you put too much pressure the shower head moved upwards and sprayed everything except you! The staff were friendly and spoke more English than we did French but that's not hard!Still, had a great time - if you have a sense of humour, please stay at this hotel - those of you who were born in the same era, "Fawlty Towers"!

    Very, very, very, very, very, very, tiny room! Smaller than we ever expected. We could have had a "wee" in the tiny, tiny, tiny toilet/bathroom from the position of the bed - About 2 steps away! The bathroom door did not shut properly so we were glad that we have been together so long that going to the bathroom/toilet/etc, wasn't too embarrassing for us - not great if you are having your "first" overnight stay with your loved one. The TV position was rubbish. The pillows were flat and gave no support on the verge of being uncomfortable. However, my partner (David) enjoyed the matinee on TV of a lovely French Lesbian film which started at around 3.00pm to his enjoyment/amazement and my "oh my god, really?" reaction - thank goodness our children were at home with grandparents!

    Staff all very attentive & cheerful & helpful! Cleanliness of rooms.

    No lifts - not ideal for the elderly with walking difficulties.
