Functional, clean and value for money.
There was no decaffinated tea or coffee, or fruit tea on offer in room. This is not a major point but I did leave the hotel to buy some!

"We found the hotel and staff quite pleasant. It was unfortunate that insufficient attention had been paid to noise insulation, regarding traffic from the main road, to the frontage of the building. (Secondary double glazing would be a solution. Also, since the room, (No. 302), was immediate to the access door to the landing, intermittant disturbance occurred due to the noise from its use by other guests." (108730061)
The staff were very helpful and the breakfast menu was very good.
Due to traffic noise my wife and I managed to get very little sleep indeed!

You have an excellent service. Affordable but very elegant hotel. I will highly recommend your hotel to all my friends here in Hampshire and all over the country. Well done to all of you!!!!

"Good value for a short city break." (108387851)
Despite being lively outside the hotel was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable with extra pillows if required. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
No particularly bad points: the first room we were given had not been made up but we were immediately provided with an alternative. We did not take breakfast at the hotel as it seemed rather expensive at nearly £8 each. Better value meals can be found elsewhere in the city.
