    "A good stay blighted by being locked out of our own room for over half an hour. I accept that the lock may have mal functioned, but do not accept that it takes over half an hour to get a master key. What if someone had ben locked in the rrom and there was a fire?" (108596985)

    Location was good. general facilities were good

    The door lock did not work on our return to the room after breakfast. The electronic key was changed but still did not work. We then had to wait over 30 minutes for a metal master key to be found before we could be let back into our own room. This was not acceptable

    Nice and Quiet...Good location

    A box of tissue (Kleenex) would be good and air conditioning...wasn't too hot when we were there though so the room only was warm in the afternoon.

    Clean room and facilities generally. pleasant staff and helpful conciege. Good central location.

    Outlook of room but understand it is London. Window has double glazing doubt this is necessary even in winter. In summer allowed little air into room. We brought a fan with us (previous experience) but you supplied 2. Very good but why was air con not installed? Your sister hotel the Marriott,also in a grade A listed building has it, so why not you? Bad decision given the forecast of hotter summers with climate change.

    The location was perfect and all staff were very helpful and friendly

    The room was very warm and temp control was not working

    The room was clean, and adequately sized. I like the noon check-out time.

    I was fine with the fact that there was construction, but the entire 5th floor had a strong odor of fresh paint, as did my room. The paint could not have been more than one day old, and there was another coat put into the hallway the next day. The smell permeated the entire hallway and my room, giving me a horrible headache the last night of my stay.

    "Good value accomodation. Not for people looking for slabs of marble everywhere but otherwise great. Pub nearby and loads of other pubs, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance - but still fairly quiet! " (107609701)

    Very good basic accomodation. A clean friendly hotel in a central but quiet location. I expected to have a few gripes at this price but I have none!

    At this price - none really!

    Ease of booking - Location excellent - Cleanliness excellent - Sociable staff - (Have stayed here several times, and recommended friends to use this Hotel)

    Noisey kettle - you are very economical on the supply of tea and coffee although when requested for more at reception, there was no problem in supply

    Excellent staff, good facilities.Appreciated use of iron in guest cupboard.

    Noisy air conditioning at back of Hotel,no biscuits in room. A bit of a scrum at the self service breakfast Sunday morning.
