the people who run the hotel were very nice the atmosphere in the dining room was nice and the food was excellent couldnot have chosen a nicer place would go back again and recommend the place to anyone

The guesthouse owner was very friendly and helpful
The steps were a bit difficult to negotiate with luggage. Shower was cold

Good location
Disappointed with the standard of the hotel. Was given the key to the room when we checked in, then when we went to the room, it had not been cleaned from the people before us, so had to go out and then come back later.

friendly
rooms weren't cleaned properly (dirty drawers, sticky spoon on tea tray, old toothpaste stains in bathroom). Bed linen and towels were stained

"Not of a high enough standard, would have expected an en suite for the money paid and would rather have had this included than a breakfast - which we did not have" (107524933)
Was fairly horrified in this day and age to find I was sharing a toilet with six other people and that if any of them were using the bathroom the toilet was also in use. Carpets in room were very stained, beds were very cheap and uncomfortable

the staff were very welcoming especially Louise who made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The trust given regarding door keys is much appreciated and we will return!
