    spot on location, in easy access of the MEN arean, victoria railway line and shopping district! very clean and spacious rooms, excellent room facilities. excellent breakfast service. fast and efficient check in service, good to hand with local knowledge!!

    Room was very presentable and functionable. Simple but the quality was good.Location was also good just a 10 minute walk to the centre.

    I had booked two doubles and 1 twin. We were checked into 3 doubles but the reception corrected this very quickly.

    The first room we were given had a very strong smekk of smoke. Someone had obviously been smoking in the bathroom. However the receptionist was very apologetic and upgraded us to another room which was very satisfactory.

    Hotel room was very nice, spacious and well equipt. The hotel was extremely well located - right opposite the MEN arena.

    When I went to check in I was told that I hadnt paid - although full payment was supposed to be taken at the time of booking.

    Cleanliness was very good and breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and assisted us with directions for different places we were interested in visiting.

    Could not understand why you could not just swipe my card when we got there instead of taking the amount from the card and having to be reinbursed when we left next day which we were told would take about seven days. We payed cash.

    Great for a one night stay. Lovely, bright, modern. Very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Very good staff.

    We wouldn't stay for any more than 2 nights because of lack of storage: wardrobe; drawers. Also we like the choice of a bath.

    "Under the circumstances I made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I am not sure if I will stay there in future, because of the means of staying in contact with my employers did not prove to be successful via their internet service, and phone calls are to expensive. I mostly travel on business and I will have to look at that aspect in the future. A vacation or leisure is ideal. It all depends on my purpose of travel I will know whether or not I will stay there in the future. Staff were helpful. I did not have the time to visit the other facilities on the compound."     One member of staff in particular really tried to make my stay comfortable. The daily cleanliness of the room was noted and food was good. Good location to the MEN Arena, train station and the city.

    I could not access the internet for my entire 6 day stay, which hampered me in liaising with my employers. The charge for local calls and the internet charges were too expensive. In my country there is a fixed rate for hotel bookings. When I was about to settle my bill, I realized that the daily charge of hotel rooms fluctuated either higher or lower than the price I booked online and that was a serious problem for me. At least guests should be informed of that situation and not be surprised at the last minute.

    Your location was perfect . It was within easy walking distance of the M.E.N. and other locations frequented by concert goers. I was in Manchester to attend the Pearl Jam concert at the M.E.N. . The room was very comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed your on site restaurant; eating there on Sunday evening, 16.8 . I would gladly book with you again.

    The soap or shampoo dispenser in my shower ( room 411) had fallen off the wall. That said, I use my own soap/ shampoo so this is a minor point.

    Although there was adequate choice at breakfast we felt the cooked breakfast was not hot enough. Even when the food was replenished from the kitchen it was only luke warm. Other than this issue we enjoyed our stay.

    I really liked this hotel and was impressed with the value for money. I arrived very tired and ate dinner on my own - not normally something I would relish, but the restaurant staff cheered me up and the food was just right, and not expensive. I appreciated being able to cool the room down with the air-conditioning on the hottest day of the year so far, I loved the modern decor and the ultra-bright, very clean bathroom, and I found my room very spacious. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
