    "brutal, 150 pounds is supposed to be cheap in London but its shocking for one night in that place, more like a youth hostel, calling it a hotel is a plain mistruth." (108608967)

    "staff very helpful, let us leave our bags as the room wasn't ready and we had arrived early in the morning. it was more like a hostel or guest house rather than a hotel. room was very small, it had a small double and 2 small singles, definitely too small for 4 poeple to stay in. no added extras not even shampoo or a hair drier, and poor bedside lamp.it did the job but wouldn't be in a hurry to stay there again. £80 per night is not that cheap for what we got."     "The experience was overall very poor. The room was very simple with 3 single beds (not even a double bed for a couple). The blankets, the carpet and lamp shades were stained giving the impression (or was it just an impression?) that the room was dirty and the heating didn't work properly. The bathroom looked dirty too, especially the string to switch on the light was so unappealing that you didn't want to touch it after washing your hands! The shower curtain was so short (and dirty) that it came stick to you while you shower. I missed the breakfast but went to have a tea (dining room was the only place you could get a tea, no kettle or such equipment in the room). The tables were sticky. I would never go back to this hotel and don't recommend it." (108986085)

    "The location of the hotel is good, is one or two blocks from King's Cross St. Pancras station underground. There're many places to eat in the area like McDonalds, Burgen King, some Asian restaurants, etc. The place looks pretty safe. The hotel in general was a little bit noisy because of the thinness of the walls and floors, but it's London style for some buildings. The good thing is that after 10pm or 11pm it was totally quiet."     -The subway/Tube is two blocks away. -There're many places to eat, a pharmacy and a small supermarket xan be located in the area. -There's a bank, and many places to exchange your money between the most popular currencies.

    -The hotel is a bit noisy in certain hours. -Some of the staffs were kind enough but it could be better.

    Room was small but wholly adequate as a base for a short break. Check-in friendly and efficient. The room, bedding and towels were all fresh and clean, all facilities in good working order (the shower was exceptional) and the breakfast was adequate although limited in choice.

    Bit of a queue for breakfast.

    staff very friendly,lovely & clean rooms quiet. just what we needed close to Kings x etc. glad of the extra blanket in wardrobe when we came back fron the warmth of Paris.lovely hot water.

    as i said before felt safety mat would be good in shower.

    The area was quiet and tubestation was close + walking distance to the city center.

    Extremely small rooms! Not even all the furnisher seemed to fit in the room. Lot of nasty looking stains at the walls and sealings. Some nasty looking mold staines in bathroom :( Stuff seemed also quite disinterested to their work. Not very good wall insulation, a bit noisy at nightime.

    Fire extinguisher are either invisible or missing. No lift. Wooden small staircases to rooms in upper floors.

    Convenient for St. Pancras station

    Had to pay for breakfast but got no refund when it was pointed out that our train left before breakfast was available. No packed/carry out breakfast option offered.

    It was in the center of London, near a underground station. It wasn't too expensive

    My sister had claustrophobia. I didn't declared this in the booking formular, because I didn't think that we would have a room in the "underground". So we wanted to change our room. There was no free triple room. And so we have to take a double room. But they didn't give us another mattress. So one of us had to sleep, only with sheets, on the floor. I think this isn't a very good service. The staff didn't try to do something for the satisfaction of the customer. It's a pity.

    Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfy bed. Great location for Waterloo. In a cute little leafy square.

    Non really. Very tiny room and bathroom but I didn't have a problem with that for the price.

    "The main problem was the shower. I can rough it and understand this is budget accommodation but if it advertises a shower it has a duty to provide one that works. The shower was simple to work but had barely any water pressure and although I stood for about 10 minutes trying to find a warm temperature it went from freezing to scalding of its own free will. For that reason I would warn anyone not to use this hotel. I did not feel able to mention it to reception as a) I don't think they would have been interested and b) it was obviously due to the water system and I don't think that could have been sorted out easily."     The staff serving breakfast were polite and efficient. The room was clean.

    The initial reception was minimal in terms of being friendly and explaining where my room was, when breakfast was served etc. They were ok after that but the initial impression did not make me feel very welcome after a long journey! My room was right on the top floor which I had to find myself without any explanation. The shower was terrible - it went from freezing cold to boiling hot with nothing in between.

    Bon rapport qualité-prix vu les prix londoniens, bonne situation (transports en commun, accueil très aimable, calme surprenant pour un hôtel de ce genre.

    Impossible de communiquer des desiderata particuliers à la réservation, le système est très rigide et ne permet pas de contact direct avec l'hôtel. Chambre et sdb incroyablement minuscules mais nous n'y étions que pour dormir. Trop peu de places dans la salle de petit déjeuner, certains devaient attendre. Pain infect (comme souvent en Angleterre). Faire payer la totalité du séjour à l'arrivée est assez grossier et peu correct : si la prestation n'est pas conforme à la réservation, le client n'a plus de moyen de pression.

    centrale, vicino a una stazione in cui incrociano molte linee di metrò, in un quartiere vivace e pieno di locali etnici

    vergognosa la dimensione della stanza, spacciata per tripla: un letto definito doppio non era nemmeno a una piazza e mezza, l'altro era un mini-singolo, la stanza era di quattro o cinque metri quadrati compreso il bagno, l'armadietto era stile spogliatoio e avrebbe dovuto ospitare gli abiti di tre persone, il bagno microscopico. l'impressione è davvero di essere presio in giro, 110 sterline per una stanza simile!. in più il pagamento viene preteso all'arrivo. viaggiamo tanto e non ci è mai capitato niente di simile. inotre c'è una stanza per la prima colazione piccolissima, dove bisogna fare la fila per sedersi stando appollaiati sulle scale. la colazione: possibile che a Londra non si serva nemmeno un uovo? solo caffè cattivo, niente latte caldo, formaggio a fette, pane, un prosciutto terribile e yogurt alla frutta

    very clean. Well functioning bathroom facilities. Service people were very helpful.

    Breakfast was very basic. Heating did not work and room was chilly. Room was very small.

    The hotel was clean. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedsheets were clean and crisp. As were the towels.

    Good location.

    The member of staff on the check-in desk was uncommunicative. He did not greet me when I walked but simply stared at me. He did not provide details of all the usual information one is told upon checking in such as the time of breakfast etc. The staff at breakfast were surly and just did the bare minimum. I would have expected them to be checking to see if the toast basket was empty and asking us if we needed more. The hotel is a converted Georgian townhouse split into small rooms. The internal walls are very thin and I could hear every word on the TV in the abjacent rooms. All of the doors on the landings and the rooms have automatic closers which means that every door bangs loudly which is very irritating at night especially given the poor acoustic qualityies of the walls. The food selection at breakfast poor. No choice of cereal, no choice of bread type for toast. The tea was in an urn not supplied individually in pots and so was stewed and horrible. There was no choice of semi skimmed or whole milk. The brealkfast room was tiny so I had to wait over an hour to eat. The ensuite in my room was too small to allow it to be used properly.
