    "rapport qualité prix ok car chambre achetée en dernière minute mais je me demande si le fait d'avoir payé la chambre moins cher a eu un impact sur l'accueil" (108455876)

    - télévision : peu de chaines, télécommande inactive - pas de réapprovissionnement en accessoires de salles de bain (seulement shampoing, savon, gel douche) - détails : serviettes en papier, pas de tisanes proposées dans la chambre

    "The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, we have no complaints at all in that department. Breakfast could be a little fresher. We would always return to the Carlton as it feels like home in Lille." (108635923)

    We love the Carlton Hotel because it is typically French. The decor is traditional, without being pretentious, and the rooms very comfortable.

    The rooms are beginning to look a little sad. The curtains and bathrooms could do with a make-over, and then this could be a 5-star hotel. Please upgrade the Bar area, it's like something out of a '50s train station.

    "Excellent location with most things in walking distance, breaskfast served at hotel was fresh and delicious. There was however no restaurant in the hotel and this was a dissapointment." (99496715)

    The decor was very nice and the location was excellent

    Whilst the decor was nice it was a little shabby in places. Also when we arrived no-one explained what we did for breakfast etc we had to read the hotels manual to find out.

    "The hotel was ok for our needs at the time. We only stayed one night so being central and having an OK room, clean with all the basic comforts was adequate for us. Not sure about the breakfast. The hot buffet was cold. The scrambled egg and bacon was then warmed up for us in the microwave..." (99108202)

    Location was excellent. Right in the centre. Receptionists were very accomodating and helpful.

    Although the shower worked well, Bathroom much too small and not very comfortable.
