  Central location

  Parking too far away and difficult to understand from the receptionist who did not speak English what the procedure was in relation to parking fees. Neither were we impressed that the Hotel shut down at 9 pm (2100 hours) and we had to use the back entrance with a security code.

  The people treated us very well, the food was excellent, very peaceful.

  They don't use face cloths, air conditioning should be a must, cheap with toiletteries

  "This was a nice "no-frills" hotel in a great location. Parking was the only problem we encountered." (97368671)

  This hotel is in the perfect location - the walled city is beautiful

  This is no fault of the hotel, but it is very difficult to find parking within the walled city. Also the streets are very narrow and difficult to negotiate at times by car as pedestrians seem to have the right of way even on the roads.

  Hotel cleanliness and the fact that it is within the walls

  Shower was poor and room needed updating. Lots of street noise due to bottle bank. Poor quality bedding prevented sleep.

  "We spent a pleasant couple of days exploring the walled part of St-Malo and our hotel was an ideal base for this. It was peaceful and conventiently situated. The receptionist recommended a restaurant on the other side of the square, which turned out to be ideal for us. The only problem was that we had no information about parking or exactly how to find the hotel before we arrived. It would have been helpful to know that the hotel offered a discount voucher for the public car parks." (99448051)

  Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was in a quiet area but very convenient for everything we wanted to see and do in St-Malo.
