    "Tired, lack of sleep due to constant noise. No air-con or just air so had to open window. Room absolutely tiny, old and nothing like as shown on internet." (108098449)

    good location, friendly helpful staff.

    Too noisy, small, old and have made our stay very unpleasant. Expect more for 70Euros a night.

    "hotel staff answered any questions about tourist sights with ease. didn't try the breakfast as there was plenty of other establishments to go to which were cheaper, especially for a family of five. the whole decor of the hotel needs updating. sheets and towels were clean but the 1970's nylon bedspread and curtains need to be replaced."     "The location was perfect! A great little bakery about 30 seconds from the front door. A fabulous pizzaeria across the street, an inexpensive grocery shop less than 5 minutes away. Close to the Metro and wonderful shops within walking distance. The room was typically European, but we each had our own bed, plenty of towels, soap, etc. The staff was wonderful and was able to give us information about what to visit, the best way to get there and what was closed. They actually took the time to look information up on line. We did not try the breakfast, but the people who did seemed to be enjoying it. Overall we loved it, including out kids ages 16 and 7."     l hotel était proche du metro et bien situé dans un quartier animé

    hotel est vraiment moyen pour un 3 étoile. La télévision produit un bruit sonore bizarre sur certaines chaines ce qui est tres génant.

    "The hotel is easy to find/reach from CDG airport and excellent for guests who want to stay out late as there are many restaurants,pubs/clubs around. We can't say anything regarding their breakfast as we have been eating out all the time..(we found a really excellent bakery while looking for the restaurants which was suggested by the hotel staff at the back of the hotel, prices are reasonable,and we have frequent the place often during our stay)."     Excellent location! Near metro, shops, atm, restaurants, tourists spots..the hotel staffs are very helpful and accomodating to guests inquiries-especially to us because we don't speak french! Our room is comfortable, however, the bathroom is a bit small.

    Nothing really..although the bathroom is a bit small, it is always clean and well maintained.

    "This was a very convenient Paris hotel with a reasonable rate.We were quite satisfied tourists." (99468213)

    The location was reasonably close the Gare North and Gare East, and was close to Pigalle metro station. There were lots of restaurants, cafes, etc nearby, plus the Sacre Couer cathedral with its panoramic views. The staff were all very pleasant, and the room was reasonable. The rate was reasonable. too.

    Nothing much to dislike really - perhaps the rooms were a bit old fashioned but not too much so.

    "I would have been quite happy with my overnight stay and I would have given a reasonable review as our receptionist on arrival was pleasant and informative. Next morning we were leaving early for an early morning flight. (We had paid our room the night before.) A grumpy night porter checked us out and when we left he came running up the street after us shouting 'telefon, telefon'! We were alarmed thinking that there was something wrong at home! When we returned he insisted we had left without paying the telephone bill. We assured him that we had not used the telephone. After an unpleasant few minutes he realised his mistake and muttered a quiet unsmiling 'sorry'. We will not be staying at the Caravelle again - thanks to this incident." (99592739)

    "The 'Cravelle'proved to be a friendly comfortable hotel. The bedroom was well furnished and equipped though on the small side. Staff were helpful and spoke reasonable English. Situation good - easy distance on foot to shops, Metro and some nice restaurants. Would definitely stay there again." (99578839)
