    Moved us to a better room...eventually.

    Put us in a room which had very noisy ventilation system above skylight and then said they didn't have any other rooms. Found one at our insistance.

    Directly opposite the Gare du Nord station therefore very convenient for transit stays or short stays.

    Loose unattached toilet seat. Light bulb missing. Conclusion - maintenance could be improved

    "Didn't think the hotel was worth the money, room was a bit dark decor wise, the area it is in is not the greatest of areas, ok for one night but not as the base for a holiday in my own opinion. But maybe I have just got used to travelodges." (107747443)

    Very easy access from the Eurostar terminal (Gare du Nord) . Bathroom was nice, breakfast was good also.

    Very noisey location, windows not double glazed hence noise was constant, paint peeling from skirting boards, room looked like it had not been decorated for years, curtains did not cover the window properly, letting in the bright lights of the train station (Gare du Nord).

    Efficient desk staff, polite.

    First impression very seedy looking hotel. Cleaning staff very rude. Kept banging our door and a one point opend it when we were in the room and told them not to and THREW clean towels into the room which landed on the bed!

    Efficient check in. Central position for access to all areas and travel facilities

    Room request non-smoking, first night room full of musty smoke, dirty carpet, burn holes to bedding, huge wall stains, bed covers stained. Requested change of room which was dealt with the next day. Desk staff unaware of condition of rooms. Second room a little better, non-working hairdryer, still stained blankets, and shower water would not run away.

    Helpful, efficient hotel staff at check in. Plus they were happy to allow us to leave our bags at the hotel on the day of checking out until later in the day when we travelled home.

    Little space to sit on the toilet! The kitchen had run out of butter for breakfast. No cold water was available to drink at breakfast.

    Particularly impressed with friendliness of staff. Arrived at nearly midnight on Eurostar and was installed in room in minutes! Luggage looked after next day whilst I visited Montmartre.

    " I've already reserved a room there for my next stopover. The cleanliness & convenience, for the price, won me over." (108035641)

    The hotel was very close to the metro; extremely convenient, with multiple restaurants, a grocery store, etc., within a few blocks. My room was small but everything was very clean and comfortable. Wireless internet access was free in the rooms. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but nice and in a pleasant room: bread, boiled eggs, juice, coffee.

    You are asked to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave the hotel (even if just for the day), which is strange. Inside the room, there is no deadbolt lock or method of preventing personnel from entering at night. There is a nondiscreet 'Sex Shop' close by which could be uncomfortable for families.

    "Dont stay in this hotel unless you've no alternative" (99184821)

    Staff were efficient at processing a refund when we decided to leave without staying a night (needless to say we lost one nights fee)

    Room was not made up when allocated to us. Unsafe electrical wiring. Inadequate fire safety. Room very shabby and generally unclean.

    "great for any english speaking folks, they are very fluent and assistive" (97467276)

    the elevator, friendly and reliable tips and advise from staff. they went out of their way to assist us everyday. The room was the best we found in its area of paris and i am suprised it didnt run us more.

    none, i only wish we could have staye don our return trip. But it was booked and i chose a hotel around the block, which was more expensive and not even close to on par with this one.

    rather good location of the hotel for visiting Paris, many restaurants arround the hotel, good access to the public transport
