    Lovely old building,excellent staff and service. Wonderful restaurant,superb food and ambience.

    Very disappointed with the room, furniture old or of a very cheap quality. Inadequate drawer or wardrobe space.

    comfortable bed,good location, friendly staff

    unable to eat in the restaurant due to non guests booking before staying guests. Staying guests should have priority for restaurant bookings, the facility to be able to book the restaurant should be included on your website to avoid dissapointment.

    Help @ Check Out when we had to leave a day early on account of an emergency. Street parking to rear of hotel is quite adequate.

    "The Breakfast Room needs to be re-arranged. It is difficult to work along the buffet bar which starts immediately at the entrance door. When there are several people coming in at the same time it is a problem to see what's happening, what's avaiable, and to serve oneself." (97088537)

    "Reception staff dealt promptly and courteously with our request for a quieter room than the one we were initially allocated above the hotel's night club. The shower and heater in the bathroom of the second room we were allocated were unusable, which we did not discover until late in the evening.     The hotel was clean, tidy and well situated. Ideal for an overnight stop after and before channel crossing.

    The room where the breakfast was served was too small to cater for all the guests adequately, otherwise ok.

    "We had a very pleasant one night stay, the hotel staff very friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful. The hotel ideally situated in the centre of town and only minutes walking distance to the Saturday market and town square." (99374402)

    Main purpose of choosing this hotel was for the restaurant which was very good. Our bedroom accommodation was in the old part of the hotel and the facilities provided were of a good standard.

    The bedroom was a little on the small side but adequate.

    "Comments above cover most points re hotel. As far as area is concerned, Montreuil is an attractive town with a good Saturday morning market. The rampart walk and Citadel are interesting and there is a good choice of restaurants as well as the one at the hotel, all within easy walking distance. Le Touquet is nearby and is worth a visit for lunch - wide range of good restaurants. The town itself is a bit touristy, especially in high season when it gets absolutely packed." (99368142)

    Character hotel centally situated in upper town. Excellent restaurant offering reasonable value - not cheap, but good quality with very good and attentive service. Breakfast at 14 euros is a bit steep but offers a good buffet selection.

    Parking extra and cost of breakfast a bit high.

    "The rooms are split between newer and older ones. In the newer block the facilities were clean and looked after. We ate at the restaurant which was good. Breakfast is not as chic as in the evening. It was quite adequate for us although our friends did not want to eat as it did not suit them. I would recommend with reservations about room standards as we are used in UK to much higher levels - but we do pay for it!" (99970307)

    Central Location

    Our evening meal was terribly poor. My sons steak was burnt, the flavouring of my sons pork dish was almost in edible, the vegetables were old adn tired - I could go on for ever. We decided not to make a scene as it was a very precious tim eoff as a family - but your hotel really spoilt our stay in France.

    The ambiance and the restaurant.

    The room was a little small, and finding the heater a problem. The shower room was small. It was difficult to find the hotel in the dark while driving.
