    "We enjoyed the quietness of the hotel and pool area. It was a very restful break for us which we appreciated. Speaking to other residents we discovered that one couple had been coming for 22 yrs and another for 10 yrs in our opinion that speaks volume for this HOtel." (108547436)

    The staff were obliging and caring. A short walk to the town and Railway station.

    There could be more variety at Breakfast. They had the same cheeses, cold meats, fruit salads etc every morning. There should be paper towels in the toilet areas and not proper towels. Toilet area near pool very tiny and claustrophobic. Also the outside shower basin could have done with a clean and the pool itself.

    All the staff at the hotel were without exception friendly and professional. We were also particularly pleased with the facilities at the swimming pool and the way the pool and pool area were looked after, which has sometimes let down other hotels we have stayed at.

    "Very good value for money, but a longer stay would necessitate a larger than "standard" room. I would use the hotel again and would recommend it to friends." (107501391)

    Manager and staff very friendly and efficient. Whole hotel clean and tidy. Parking facilities. Good location.

    Hôtel de charme, bien situé, au calme et à quelques minutes des possibilités de restauration. Personnel très aimable et très disponible Possibilité de parking dans la rue (en basse saison tout du moins)

    Le buffet du petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles et excessif au niveau du prix (12 euros): offre en pains et fruits insuffisante en terme de variétés, inexistante au niveau de la charcuterie (très prisée des clients Nordiques), absence de jus de fruits frais, absence de confitures en pots : en résumé un niveau courant 2-3 étoiles au niveau du contenu petit déjeuner

    "This was our 6th summer vacation in Beaulieu-sur-Mer and our 2nd stay at the Carlton Hotel. This stay was really great. The performance of the staff was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. We would like to mention their recommendations of excellent restaurants in the region." (97087717)

    We stayed in a very nice room on the 2nd floor with view to the pool and to the garden. The room was rather large. The bathroom was in a good shape and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We had breakfast on the terrace in the garden. The location of the hotel is particularly attractive, in a relatively quiet residential environment, not far from the beach.

    Quiet location in a residential area; all staff friendly and helpful; good swimming pool; railway station nearby (10 mins to Nice or Monaco)

    Limited parking available, but I had requested a parking space when booking which had been noted.

    "The hotel is located in a quiet area but yet within walking distance of many restaurants. The directions are very good on the website and it is easy to follow the casino and hotel signs on arrival in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The staff were very friendly and greeted us always with a smile! The website seems to have a standard response to special requests which left me a little anxious until I arrived. The swimming pool is a little oasis - birds singing and scented plants abound - of course the beautiful weather helped. I would love to have spent a few days there - honestly!" (97389747)

    I liked the location of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and informative. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked.

    The room was small but I understood this fact when I booked the special offer. The only thing lacking was a restaurant in the hotel for evening dinner.
