    "Difficile pour des Nord-américains de penser qu'on doive payer 100 euros pour une chambre de cette qualité et aussi peu de services. De plus, quand on loue une chambre non-fumeur, on s'attend à ce que la direction de l'hôtel fasse respecter le règlement afin d'assurer la bonne qualité de l'air. " (108247448)

    - personnel de jour à la réception accueillant et fournissant de bons conseils - excellente situation géographique - environnement offrant de bons services - chambre de taille correcte

    - chambre mal insonorisée avec ses voisines - chambre soit disant non-fumeur mais avec forte odeur de fumée et de renfermé - une seule prise de courant et mal située - état général défraîchi de cette chambre

    "Perfect location for the Left Bank, Rue Mouffetard, St Germain, nice room with large window. Very clean and all facilities provided for, including extra pillows, very friendly and helpful staff at reception - for the price this is surely one of the best hotels in Paris!" (107541278)

    "very poor indeed, I know it`s only a basic hotel but I wouldn`t even give it one star" (107324142)

    the bed smelt mouldy it was rather sickening, it was noisy at night someone had their television on very loud(I know this not really down to the hotel staff)

    Radiator in bedroom on full all night and couldn't be turned off. Only ventilation was via double doors to balcony which were either fully opened or fully closed. Fully open not an option due to draught and road noise. Hence didn't sleep well as room was so hot.

    "A great location for the Pantheon, St Germain, Luxembourg Gardens - also for the Metro. Very easy to get to from the Gare de Nord if you come by Eurostar - get the RER to St Michel Notre Dame (2nd stop) then the Metro to Cardinal Lemoine (3 stops) - as you come out of the Cardinal Lemoine exit, turn left and the hotel is on the next corner. The staff are very friendly and were most helpful! A wonderful hotel at an exceptionally good price for it's location." (97797872)

    Location, cleanliness, simple check in, lovely hot water at all times!

    It's only disadvantage is the noisy road outside but if you close the double glazed windows there's no problem!

    L'hotel est situé dans un quartier vivant, avec une bonne restauration à proximitée.Il se trouve tout prés des principeaux monuments de Paris (Notre Dame, Le Panthéon, Hotel de Ville etc),que l'on peu atteindre sans problèmes à pieds.

    "Yes its a bit of a dump. But lets get real, for what your paying its good value for money. Rooms are basic, bit of a groty bathroom etc, but staff are nice. Lets be honest, you are paying for the location. You wont get a better spot for the money you pay. Right next to a metro, lots of cafes bars etc, but still not noisy enough to bother you at nights. If like us, you got up in the morning, went around Paris, got back about 11.00pm each night after getting something to eat, great." (97748040)

    Great spot, near metro bars cafes etc: Nice staff very helpful.

    Very run down. 2 stars is about right.

    Location was good, close to Notre Dame and two metro stations. Accommodation was clean and tidy although decor in rooms a little tired. Found it adequate for a weekend stay. Staff helpful.

    Although shower was good think an eldery person would struggle to get in and out of it.
