    "Very nice - arrived tired in a 40 year old car that was hot, bothered and playing up - the room was comfortable and all staff very friendly. Perhaps not the most picturesque patio in France (over looking the car park - but there again our car is very pretty) but nevertheless sitting out on a warm night enjoying a bottle of wine was great!"     Very good location, lots of parking, very friendly helpful staff, room clean and comfortable.

    A bit hard to find as although there is a big sign on the hotel the name sign is much smaller and different.

    le site web utilisee pour reserver les chambres n'etait pas juste, donc j'ai reserve une chambre de trop mais j'ai que realisee en entrant des chambres. la dame a l'accueil, etant tres agreable et serviable avant, pourrait rien faire pour me rembourser l'erreur. j'ai perdu 40 euros.

    "not bad for an hotel of this price range.was desperate for hotel. this was the only reason to stay here. this was enroute to holliday,so could have made or killed enjoyment." (107746124)

    service very good. breakfast very good. staff could not do any more to make our stay enjoyable. they should be rewarded.

    needs decorating. needs re-plan of showers only made for very small travellers.no place to sit down in comfort in bar areas. only three easy chairs. smoking in bar area.

    "I have stayed in this Hotel many times. It is very basic, however it is clean has good parking and security. It is suitable for a one or two night stop, before the Ferry/Tunnell. The rooms have English TV, SHOWER, I would take the breakfast good value, nice coffee" (107840664)

    "Second time I have stayed here in the last couple of years and I will not go again. The room we had last time was a bit better than this time round but it is in dire need of a refurb, staff are friendly and it is clean but very uncomfortable and noisy with defective facilities" (107799639)

    Good location, free parking, friendly staff and relatively clean

    Most uncomfortable bed have ever slept on and I stay away from home pto 4 nights per week, shower would not drain and flooded bathroom, room freezing cold even with heater on, very noisy with little or no insulation from corridor noise therefore very little sleep

    Breakfast was good value

    extremely basic room, did not like the bunk over the top of the bed, no hair dryer in the room, lacked tea and coffee facilities - bathroom was extremely damp and shower door broken.

    Clean, basic and priced for great value for money. Cheap breakfas0 buffet, especailly when booked with the room. Much cheaper than a stop in England before of after the ferry.

    Basic and a little cramped, certainly for 3 but ideal for a one-night stopover associaed with a ferry crossing.

    We have stayed at this Hotel a few times now, it is cheap and offers a good safe nights sleep. It is not top class, but if you want a value for money hotel with English TV. I would recomend, I would also take the breakfast for 5 euros per person its a bargain. The hotel is only 10 min from Euro Tunnel Ferry

    Very easy to find from the ferry port. Good location, local to restaraunts and handy for Cite Europe, quiet when the window was closed (and my room faced the station!). I was able to view UK TV and therefore get an idea of traffic conditions to decide my route home. The mattress was a little hard, but that suited me.

    The rooms are looking a little tatty. The sink in my room had more cracks than a Liverpudlian stand up comedian! however, everything (most important) was clean. I still can't work out why the toilet rolls are hidden under the sink, any first time visitor must get frustrated. Prices in the bar ensure I have what I need elsewhere. The showers are not for 'large' people.

    "this accomodation was well suited to a family of 5, we had two rooms and the doors were next to each other at an angle with another main door to the hall. We were able to leave both bedroom doors open with the main door closed which worked well. It was neat and tidy, nothing fancy but had a nice ensuite and TV. A quiet location but right near the centre of calais and 10 minutes from the big shopping centres. Very easy to walk to local resturants and centre shopping. Will stay again when next in calais.     Decor was a bit dated and the breakfast for 5 euros was just toast and cereal, a cooked breakfast would have been nice even if we had to pay more.

    Value for money, good location with food and bars close by, very close to port and easy to get to with plenty of parking

    Room is small, but the price reflects that, the third bed is a bunk, as shown in the picture, however in our room the securing bolts to the wall had come loose! We put the mattress on the floor, the bed seemed to settle more than we would have liked.

    "I will not be staying again and I am looking in to make a proper formal complaint to recieve some of my money back especially for the internet usage, as I needed access to check my Eurotunnel booking. The room was so bad that my girlfriend actually started crying at how horrible and disgusting the room was." (107227739)

    The Internet Booking was nice and simple and confirmation was clear. Check in was easy...

    The room was disgusting and there was mould on the sealing. The mattress was practically distorted in shape and I slept on an uphill angle all night. I could smell the people next door smoking. The website and email confirmation also told me there was free wireless internet, but I was charged 5Euro for this, which is very unfair.

    Reasonable price, good location near all town facilities and tourist areas. Clean bedding etc. Good security with 3 secure doors to be passed before entering room.

    A little shabby round the edges e.g. mouldy grout in bathrooms, chipped paint in places.

    "Good value for money. Each room comfortably sleeps three as there is a bunk bed over the double bed. Very basic rooms eg. no bedside tables so you have to put your phone, glasses etc on the floor. However, it makes a good stopover close to the ferries and the breakfast is almost identical to those offered by other hotels at much higher prices. " (108093544)

    Very small shower - difficult to get in and out of it as the door opened on to the toilet! Close to main road - lots of noise from passers-by (generally very drunk!)

    Staff very efficient and welcoming.

    Grotty rooms with damp and mould growing on walls on ground floor. Shower door didn't open fully as blocked by toilet (quite comical for my husband to watch his eight month pregnant wife try to manouevre in and out!)
