    "Hotel pool was cold. I was offered a small reduction for a stay of 7 nights but really had to 'push' for this, albeit at the end of December. At the end of the stay I was told there would have been more but I did not ask for the 2-nights-for one offer over the weekend." (107703818)

    "Excellent! We both agreed we would return. The staff were very pleasant and cheerful; the room, if spartan, was fine (with a lovely view); the location is superb and we enjoyed the experience." (107179207)

    Nice, friendly staff. Good old-fashioned decor and rooms. Fabulous location. The reception was very helpful with maps and advice. If one drinks alcohol the discounts are well worth the stay! Unfortunately we made no gain: our fault!

    Slow service at end of meals, however this is endemic in your region. When I want to leave (dinner) I hate waiting for the bill to be proferred. Breakfasts were poorly catered. Many guests were discommoded. We were told that croissants were finished-at 0930!

    "It was a very pleasant stay.We were charmed by the enterance foyer of the Hotel I had booked on line for one night for two couples ie ie one night but two rooms but found that the second room was not in fact reserved and the date was wrong.I probably should have made a completely seperate booking for the other couple but this would have been time consuming and not evident as being the correct proceedure. Overalll however we enjoyed our stay .The staff were all extremely pleasant and efficient.The general ambience was charming and it was lovely having the swimming pool to use. The position of the hotel was very acceptable.Available parking was most helpful" (97881953)

    Nice 100 year old hotel, some art deco touches esp in foyer. Restaurant basic but good.

    Breakfast was charged at Euro 13 whereas the onlne booking stated Eu 10; I pointed this out and was told the website was incorrect; this should be rectified pronto.

    "It would be nice to have a shower cap in the bathroom as I had to go out and buy one the next morning. Also, I missed a safe in the bedroom just to store passports in order that we would not have to carry them around." (97786307)

    The location was excellent and the view from our room was very pleasant.

    The bed was noisy and the pillows and blankets I would have dumped a long time ago. The tea and coffee was very salty on one of the nights that we ate in the hotel. Food was excellent.

    très bon acceuil, bel hotel d'époque

    pas assez de places disponible pour acceuillir les personnes au restaurant. Il fallait se dépecher de manger pour laisser la place.

    "This is an old-fashioned hotel - if you're into sleek modern places, this isn't for you! However, it is well-situated (shops, cinemas, restaurants, canal, train station and airport bus) and the Cite is a twenty-minute walk through some interesting neighborhoods. Overall, great value for money. While some people opt to stay in the Cite, it is some distance from the airport and we were glad we stayed here instead!" (97774181)

    The style of the hotel decor and the aspect of the room (Facing the park)

    The first time I stayed at the terminus, I found the level of traffic noise was very high in the room. The service in the resturaunt was fair.

    "hotel was very clean with modern bathroom the hotel provides discount vouchers for the patrons who use the restaurant/bar +coffe lounge. I would have liked to have seen this hotel in its (hay day)sweeping stair case and marble landings that you could hold a dance in (anyway time to make your own mind up)We liked it" (99456680)

    The Hotel had a classic period charm.

    Only 1 member of staff on reception. Could have done with a few shelves in the wardrobe.

    Large lobby, great central location, good price.

    The hotel could do with some modernising. The toilet was in a separate room from the sink and bath. There was no hook for the shower hose, so you have to hold it up while showering, rather tiring! The tiles in the bathroom were coming loose and the colour scheme was very dated. The food in the restaurant was just average.

    "A difficult hotel to find on a busy Saturday afternoon; we managed to park the car within walking distance, but a struggle with baggage.. It took us 3 attempts to check in - each time we were told the room was not ready so we went for a walk until well after 5pm. Only one ancient and tiny lift for a sizeable hotel - some might argue part of the charm, but not convenient nevertheless. As an overnight hotel, it was an expensive option." (99062554)

    lack of facilities in an enormous room - no mirror even, never mind the lack of kettle etc which the chain hotels provide as a matter of course.

    The location of the Hotel the staff were very effecient and friendly.

    The first bedroom my husband and I and my Son and partner were given was a twin bedded room with capet in toilet!!, I asked to be changed to bedrooms with double beds, that was done immediately, could not understand why it was not done when we arrived. The showers in the bathroom in my room had very poor water pressure and the base of shower cubicle had a very slippery surface causing me to fall the first time i used it. The pool was freezing, my husband had to pay ten euros and none of us could stay in water for more than a few minutes due to temperature. The final straw came when we paid the bill, our booking was for 140 euro we were charged 178, we did not have any extras and I excluded the 10 euro for pool. There hopefully will be a few improvements when we go back My daughter had her baby with her and the cot etc . bed, shower in her her room were excellent. She was in 119, I was in 321 my son was in 323. Regards Martina Mulvihill

    the room is big and also the wc. The breakfast was tasty.

    The room was very basic for a three star hotel . Times for restaurant opening not very accomodating. Another guest was able to gain access to my room with another key. Bar prices changed by the hour
