  "We were traveling with friends who stayed in Bordeaux. They had a car and we didn't. We met them for dinner in Bordeaux and the taxi ride cost 40 euros. So the next time we're renting our own car. We ordered room service and even though it was a small menu, everything was good. Even the wines they offered were a good value. They might consider expanding their menu. All in all, we loved it!!!"   The Chateau was beautiful and relaxing. The owner was very friendly and hospitable.

  "The hotel itself was beautiful with the old building and the modern rooms contrasting well with each other. The breakfasts were very good. It is also a good location for balancing the city of Bordeaux with the surrounding wine country. I would have liked to have known that there was no bar or restaurant at the hotel as this made it difficult to get an evening meal and also that the hotel lacked some charm as a concequence."   The chateau was very beautiful and had been completely restored. The rooms were very modern and well appointed with great bathrooms e.g. good showers. The breakfasts were also very good.

  There was no bar or restaurant on site and this had not been made clear in advance.

  "Unaware that, apart from the mini bar there would not be any cold drinks available during the day other than at breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. This was the best hotel we have stayed in during our two week holiday in France." (99651116)

  It was very clean & welcoming. All bedding & furniture was first class. The general standard was very high. The views were exceptional. There was no noise from any other rooms or guests.

  No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room.No iron or ironing board in the room.

  "We would like to have known there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel and really it was only a B&B and therefore quite expensive. I would recommend it, but would say there is no food available other than breakfast." (99194134)

  Very peaceful, quiet location with swimming pool very welcome in the hot weather.
