    Position to town, market, fort, museum and seafront. The food is excellent, staff and customer service friendly. Good bathroom/shower and coffee/tea making facility a plus as was the general cleanliness.

    Bedroom fittings dated and melamine/formica style finish not attractive. Room we stayed in was small and on the side of the hotel above a noisy side street. For one night it was OK. If staying there for longer than one night we would definately pay a little more and choose a front sea facing room with a balcony.

    Hotel clean and generally welcoming

    Standard of food poor for price charged. Portions very small and therefore poor value. Attempted to charge for a more expensive bottle of wine than ordered.

    "Overall the hotel was very conveniently placed, reasonably priced and the services more than adequate. Disappointed with the lack of air conditioning considering the external noise problems" (97529450)

    The hotel was extremely convenient for the town centre and a useful base to explore the local area.

    As the hotel is close to the town centre it was very noisy and rowdy outside late on Friday and Saturday night, which could be a problem if the room is hot and you need the window open because there is no air conditioning in the rooms

    Lovely location, friendly staff and easy going atmosphere. Clean warm room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, and the view from the dining room was superb.

    Ideal location for easy access to town centre, restaurants, bars and places of interest, all walking distance. Also lovely to be so near the sea.

    "Only stayed at hotel for one night but found facilities and hotel to be of good value. Breakfast was not included but was good value for money when purchased. Easy walk to local restaurants. Parking was free but the size of car park was inadequate for the number of rooms." (97367336)

    room 407 is spacious and quiet - apart from being clean. room 208 is a bit small and the noise from the kitchen disturbed us

    as above . the room 208 is a bit small and noisy. We found it curious that neither rooms have toilet paper holders

    location is good , staff are pleasant, good value breakfast and attractive restaurant

    Corridor smelt damp. When we checked in staff didn't mention clocks were changing that night. A reminder would have been helpful

    "The hotel was centrally located in Dieppe, only 1 min to the beach 2 min to restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel looks good but if you want a meal there I would recommend booking as they are always very busy, we arrived at 8:00 and it was fully booked." (99937406)

    Great Position,pleasant helpful staff. We had a lovely see view, plenty of room and the rooms were quiet during the night.

    Pleasantly relaxed, agreeably non-smart, had an excellent room with sea view, bed comfortable, bathroom excellent

    Corridors etc need redecoration and carpets are worn, but we don't mind, indeed the slightly frowsty air was comforting.

    Sea view. Clean and efficient bath room. Good bed. Position for town perfect. We were able to park on forecourt... a bonus.

    Poor pillows ...no spare. No extra blanket. Very small room no space to move around bed. Dressing table in poor condition.. drawers badly fitting. Plastic cups fragile...a glass would be preferred.

    "This hotel is in a good position on the sea front, very close to town centre shops and restaurants. On site parking is very limited although the staff were very helpful about moving cars around so that we could put ours in a secure location after it was broken into during a visit to a nearby chateau. There's plenty of free parking nearby but it was almost full even in October. Staff were very helpful and welcoming at all times. The hotel has been refurbished in part - our bathroom was very modern but the bedroom was a bit scruffy. It was however very clean. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey at E8.45 but it was an unlimited buffet which enabled us to do without much for lunch! And although it finished at 9.30 am it was still possible to arrive at that time and find adequate supplies of food and be allowed time to eat it. The restaurant has good views over the sea front. Dieppe has lots to recommend it, with plenty of places to eat and a large Saturday market." (99376320)

    Excellent position on sea front, near town centre shops and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Nicely refurbished bathroom. Clean throughout.

    Bedroom (as opposed to refurbished bathroom) was a bit scruffy, one light not working, curtains hanging off the poles.
