    "This was just a short stay en route to Italy. The hotel was perfectly positioned to catch the early train from Gare de Lyon opposite. Breakfast was even served from 5.30 am for those leaving earlier still. The room was perfectly adequate although the price seemed rather high. However in this area there did not seem to be anything much cheaper available." (108415865)

    Convenient for station. Room basic but clean. Two good sized beds. Adequate breakfast.

    No tea and coffee facilities in room. Please bear in mind that for older couples travelling on the Eurostar train from the UK and not able to speak French and arriving possibly in France for the first time ever, can be a bit stressful, so tea and coffee facilites in room, would be of great assistance please Room too hot, no air conditioning. No comfortable seating other than on bed. Passenger lift a bit small, (but better than no lift at all)

    Very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient for the station and with Metro and a supermarket nearby.

    The 'Fair' rating for facilities only refers to the lighting and air conditioning - the rest were good. The room had what were intended to be helpful lightswitches that lit up in the dark - but we preferred to sleep in a darkened room. The air conditioning was noisy and so couldn't be used at night.

    "Very positive, we needed overnight accommodation to catch a train to the Alps the next morning and the Terminus Hotel is ideally situated for this." (107632204)

    The Terninus Hotel is conveniently close to the Gare de Lyon station. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

    There is no parking at the hotel, although paid parking is available in a huge underground parking garage adjacent to the train station; this however is not cheap.

    "The reception staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful and efficient. My online booking was answered immediately and there was never a problem with changing dates etc. After a long 30 hour flight from Australia, this was very welcome." (107226065)

    It was a relief to have a lift for heavy suitcases - this is not always available in small hotels. Very clean room, with updated bathroom, warm and polite staff. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The position is fantastic.

    It was not very clear about the breakfast "special" - I thought breakfast was free as part of the fee, so I was surprised to be billed for breakfast.

    Very helpful staff. Excellent location (right across the street from the Gare de Lyon). Better bathrrom than most of the other hotels we've stayed in in France.

    Two queen beds were too big to squeeze into the room. We had to move one just to get into the room.

    Excellent staff. Pleasant and professional. Continental breakfast was very good. Location is perfect for travel from Gare Lyon via TGV.

    Small elevator, but at least there is one!

    "- Excellent breakfast - Very professional, pleasant and well informed staff. Their tips about travelling in Paris were helpful. They knew about the upcoming traffic and weather in Paris and gently shared the information. - Ideal location to use public transports (RER especially and the recent and very safe and clean 14 subway line) - There are two cheap restaurants at the doorstep, as well as an excellent Taverne de Maître Kanter nextdoor, with excellent and reasonably priced traditional French (from Alsace) food -In the next parallel street, there is a French market with excellent French products -They are willing to keep your luggage if you travel around for a short time" (97082210)

    Staff very helpful, room very clean, good size, close proximity to metro, railway and buses.

    Not impressed with the breakfast, no coffee etc in room, just a personal view though.

    Room was spacious and adequate and bed comfortable. Online booking was very fast and payment at hotel no problem. Also reasonable price. Breakfast was very nice and assorted.

    I booked the accommodation for my parents (aged 80 plus). Their comments are: No tea or coffee facilties in room. When arriving at hotel after a very long journey across UK, then by Eurostar, and then taxi to hotel.and not being able to speak any French, it would have been nice to have somewhere to buy sandwiches or a snack in the hotel, as they did not want to have a full meal in one of the surrounding restaurants and were feeling quite tired. Tea/coffee facilities in room with maybe biscuits would have made them feel more welcome at the end of their long journey. Also they did not like the TV screens on the walls as they said there was lot of interference on screen. When they stayed previously I think they just had a normal tv in the room.

    Chek-in et chek-out très rapide et aisé. Chambre et salle de bain tout à fait convenable pour le prix, voire même très bien car même étant corpulent pas de problème pour le lit et la douche etc. Isolation phonique bonne etc.

    It was very close to the Gare de Lyon and to a pleasant inexpensive restaurant. The shower room was modern and clean.

    It was as if the shower room and room were from different epochs! The room was small and very basically furnished.

    Sheets on the bed rather than duvet. Friendliness of the Reception staff. Convenience for Gare de Lyon station.

    Pillow was rather hard. There were others in the wardrobe which I discovered on leaving!

    "We stupidly left the station by the wrong entrance so had difficulty finding the hotel at first but it was a very good location for our early train. Efficient check-in, clean room, no noise, comfortable bed. A good choice especially for a one night stay over." (97413780)

    The bathroom was especially good - clean, modern and attractive - and the room had everything we needed in the way of desk, storage etc. We were particularly impressed with the friendliness of the hotel, especially the cleaning staff we encountered on our way in and out, and the efficiency of breakfast.

    The room was quite small - but that's Paris! The lift was tiny and rather slow.

    Convenience to Gare de Lyon for TGV travel.Just walk across the street! Really nice bistros and cafes nearby. Room was larger than expected for a Paris hotel.

    "The hotel was litterally opposite the Gare de Lyon. Finding it from the airport was easy because of this. It's close to the river and has a metro stop near it. It is on a busy main road but the rooms have air-conditioning and the resturant attatched is lovely. Staff were really approachable and helped us alot, especially as our french was minimal."     Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and service. Close proximity to Gare de Lyon made it a very easy stop-over.

    It would have been convenient to have tea / coffee making facilities in the room, especially on arrival.
