    very pleasant stay and we sure will go back to the hotel again At the reception gentlemen spoke very good English and it made very easy for us.

    no tea making facility in the room and no extra blankets

    Reception staff welcoming room clean and tidy Evening meal excellent

    shower could only be used in hand held position as wall bracket was broken on our arrival. The chambermaid should have reported this fault to management. As we had to report this to the reception on our departure we hope it was repaired for the next occupants. There was no alternative bath to use.

    large room, very comfortable beds and 2 chairs and small table. Lots of space for bags, cases etc. Very good sized, clean bathroom. A quiet area of Berck in easy reach of the main pedestrian area and the beach. Some good restaurants nearby. Staff helpful.

    Breakfast at 8 euros each was expensive although as it was a buffet we could have eaten loads more! The building was rather shabby and the carparking area rather delapidated. Bar rather depressing.

    Good clean room and comfy bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good value at €8. Well located hotel within walking distance of sea and town centre in a quiet street

    No tea/coffee making facilities in room and toilet a bit cramped due to badly placed radiator.

    We booked three rooms, two of which were rather small. TV remote had lost buttons for stations 1 and 2 but we don't watch much TV in France. Staff were excellent, particularly restaurant staff who were always helpful and friendly.

    Interior decoration is tired in many areas but not seriously so.

    "Les photos de l'hôtel sur internet ne correspondent pas tout à fait à la réalité. Le mobilier et les peintures murales de part et d'autres plus que défraîchies. Je pense que cet hôtel mériterait un sérieux relooking. Dommage" (107817858)

    Chambre pas du tout insonorisée ; la qualité du petit-déjeuner est plus que décevante ; la salle de restaurant ne correspond pas du tout à la catégorie que l'hôtel annonce. Tables dans un état lamentable, personnels de salle non performants.

    "We were only using the hotel for an overnight stop after a day at the beach and would probably use it again, though probably wouldn't want to be based here for too much longer! The staff were helpful in general." (108032533)

    Very good position, close to all shops and easy walk to the beach Room was recently fitted with a brand new bathroom.

    Decor in the room (apart from bathroom) was a little tired but hotel appeared to be undergoing a re-fit. No kettle in room. Breakfast was a little disorganised and felt a little like a canteen.

    On the boking form it only asked for no of adults and not children which led to confusion over rooms.

    Very friendly and helpful staff

    Bathroom very small. no coat hangers in wardrobe.Television not working ,although in fairness we didn"t report it at the time so do not know how promptly this would have been rectified had we done so.

    une grande chambre avec lit tres confortable, lhotel est bien situé ni trop loin du centre et de l'esplanade

    "Overall a very pleasant overnight stay in an out of season resort. Staff welcoming and friendly and room was clean and comfortable although we had reserved (I thought) a large bed and had two twin beds instead. Didnt bother to query it as the room afforded us a good view of our car which was fairly loaded down on street parking. Breakfast which is a payable extra was a very enjoyable and good variety of choices from boiling your own eggs and doing toast to cold meats and cheeses, cereals and hot and cold drinks. We didnt dine in the restaurant in the evening but the menu looked to be very appetising and reasonably priced When we left I did say to the receptionist whom we had dealt with throughout our stay both at the bar and desk A la prochaine !! Would definetely use this hotel again as a near Calais/Boulogne stopover. Less than an hour to the ports in the morning makes it ideal !!!" (97382399)

    Comfortable and warm on a wintry evening

    Television position on wall in room not the most comfortable for viewing. No Satellite TV which would have been useful for BBC News 24 and weather for onward journey conditions.

    excellent week-end nous noterons simplement que le petit déjeuner était un peu maigre

    petit déjeuner et la nuisance sonore. On entend ce qu'il se passe à à côté des chambres mais cela reste un détail
