    No parking (although inexpensive public parking nearby). Difficult unloading no A/C

    Convenient Location near centre of Orlean but quiet. Hotel well maintained, large bedroom simply furnished,pleasant staff.

    No guest arears apart from small reception which doubles as breakfast room

    Rapport qualite/prix excellent

    Situation de l'hotel plus precise et en fonction des batiments ou edifices publics ou autres.Quand on demande des renseignements pour s'y rendre plusieurs personnes ne connaissent pas la place du vieux marche.

    Room on the small side, but that is what you expect in a city.

    "Before our travel, I asked about parking our car and was told it may be possible to park on the street within easy reach of the hotel. This turned out not to be the case. It seems that on a Friday evening, the area is particularly busy. It would been useful to have known this. There is a paying multi-storey car park nearby, which I was told about: in hindsight, I should have asked for directions to save a few turns round a block for the person driving. There was nowhere near the hotel to pull in and unload our bags, which meant he had to set off to find a parking place before we could seek advice at the hotel." (99985426)

    The location was easy to find and close to places of interest and to places to eat.

    It was not easy to find somewhere to unload bags or to park our car, though the staff did make useful suggestions.

    "The hotel was easy to find. We arrived early evening and at this time there was plenty of reasonably priced street parking near the hotel which made it easy to move luggage to the hotel. The hotel manager was a very helpful, happy and friendly man with enough English to compensate for my appalling French. We were given keys to several rooms so that we could select our favourite. All the rooms were a good size, clean, bright and very comfortable with good en-suite facilites. I would have preferred flatter pillows on the bed but I coped for one night with the strange high roll-type pillow. The hotel was very close to the centre of Orleans and the hotel manager was able to provide maps of the city and details of local restaurants. My only regret was staying just one night, I would have happily spent longer in this delightful hotel and city." (99172240)

    No air conditioning or fan (it was HOT), no foreign stations on TV
