    Prompt attention to needs; satisfactory catering; clean room and general surroundings; quirky decor.

    No outstanding bad points.

    It was good value for money and the ambiance and friendliness of the owners was excellent. It was also close to the centre and good parking.

    It was noisy at night and early morning as our room overlooked a busy street.

    "Our stay was very good. The breakfast was particularly good and the room's facilities and gadgets were an added bonus!" (99241062)

    There were friendly staff and a lovely little room with good facilities.

    The parking. There were no spaces for the hotel so we had to park in a car park which was small and crowded.

    easy to locate ,near city centre but quiet.

    the room was a little cramped although the private terrace was a bonus.There was a strange creaking noise from adjacent room that was repeated every 10 mins ,for a period of an hour,during the night.We did not mention this to the owners because our french is not that good.

    Las habitaciones son un poco justas de espacio pero estan decoradas con mucho gusto y nos les falta de nada.

    "This is clearly an hotel where the owners have worked very hard to make a rather run-down establishment into a very French, well designed hotel of good standard. The furnishings are all of high quality and period charm. I felt that nothing was too much trouble for the owners. There is a relaxed atmosphere which would welcome allcomers. It is not grand in any sense, but it is very friendly and coped extremely well with a party of four adults and three young children. (In common with many small French hotels, there are quite a lot of stairs.) The hotel is not in the fashionable centre of Albi, but is only a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and the other points of interest. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay in again when in Albi." (99269698)

    "Excellent quality, excellent staff, excellent value, excellent stay. When I am in the area next time, I would stay here again, hopefully for a longer visit, and would certainly recommend it to others." (99066128)

    The rooms were very individualistic and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Probably, overall, one of the most enjoyable and pleasant overnight stays I have had in a long time. My daughter especially liked room decor. Jean Claude speaks excellent english and was so pleasant and friendly. A first rate hotel stay.

    No lift, but well, so what?
