    Very impressed - good value, clean room, staff were friendly and approachable, ideally situated for both shopping and the eurotunnel.

    Disappointed with the breakfast choice for the cost, we were expecting a wider buffet selection i.e. including cold meats/cheeses etc. However the complimentary drinks and cake were well received. The hotel's use of paper cups/plates is understandable, but not very appealing.

    Convenient for Channel Tunnel Comfortable Large rooms with en-suite

    Breakfast is expensive and uninteresting so this time we ate at the Ibis next door - good value. May try their rooms next time

    The hotel was easy to find, had ample parking and a very efficient check-in process. The room was a good size with all necessary facilities for a family of four. Very clean and pleasant.

    very clean. Loved the modern bath and shower which were both spotless.

    Breakfast very disappointing. Charged us for 2 adult and 2 childrens breakfasts. Children did not like anything that was available. Did not even have toast or bread or cereal

    Disappointed to find only 1 handtowel and only 1 bathtowel,in bathroom.! Had to ask at reception for extra.

    "We have stayed in the Calais area at least twice a year (used to be six times) for the past five years, but now considering staying elsewhere because of the sharp increase in the cost. 90Euros against 82Euros last year. " (107975037)

    More spacious than an hotel room. Other plus points are the fridge, the bathroom and TV. The hotel is also easy to get to from the tunnell or the ferry from England.

    We stay twice a year - May/June and November/December. Air conditioner does not always produce the temperature required.

    "Lovely, comfortable and clean room. slightly expensive for overnight stay. we checked next door hotel, which was cheaper and the room looked clean too, maybe not as large as this one ." (107521763)

    CLEAN, LARGE ROOM.

    Disappointed that the hotel could not accomodate us for extra couple of hours though they had 2 free rooms. we were hoping to get this after my son had injured his arm, and was just trying to keep him out of crowd and arrange earlier return home. was told i could stay 2 hours more but had to pay extra night!!

    Suite hotel was a very clean hotel, staff were great!!!! the buffet breakfast was different and delicious!!!

    Quite an expensive hotel as the on e nextdoor significantly cheaper! Beds were quite hard.

    The staff were really helpful and spoke good English. They were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

    They could do with two pillows on the beds. Other than that none.

    Excellent room, more like an appartment. Free easy car parking. Proximity to restaurants and centre commercial and Tunnel. Nice touch to provide free coffee, cakes etc near reception in morning. Great having separate shower cubicle as well as bath.

    Possible design fault with window. Should be more than one pillow per person, but staff very helpful and gave us another one each upon request.

    Good size rooms, quiet, liked pull down black out blinds. Very good shower etc, and liked the seperate cubicle for the toilet. Had english tv channels.

    Very clean, very spacious room with all amenities. Pleasant, helpful receptionists when booking in and out.

    No bad points but I feel that amenities like access to the gym, internet, films on TV possibly increase the price of one's stay and would probably not be used if only staying for one night. However, I'm sure they would be perhaps be most welcome for a longer stay or if the weather was bad.

    Good clean rooms (we had a triple and a twin). Bathroom was modern and clean and beds were comfortable.

    No aircon which meant having to open the windows (Calais on a Saturday night can be a bit noisy).

    The location of the hotel was convenient.

    The air condition in the bathroom was making noises so that I had to put a towel into the whole in the ceiling to stop the noise.

    "Not as good as in the past. We have stayed at the Suitehotel twice a year (between one and three nights) for the past five years. The cost has increased from 82 Euros last November to 106 Euros this time - we will be looking at other hotels in the Calais area for our next visit in December - to compare prices on a like for like basis.     Good size room, fridge, microwave, TV, location, car park

    Central light not working, hair dryer not working. Room had not been cleaned when we arrived at about 1.30pm. This, fortunately, did not matter as we just dropped off our luggage and left to go shopping.

    Tastefully decorated. Practical and functional well equipped room. Helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.
