  "The online booking process is a disaster. I came with my mother, we had booked two separate rooms, none of which had windows that could be opened..... Plus, there's no way of requesting a room with a sea view, unless I am mistaken. Except for that, our stay has been highly enjoyable and we thank the receptionist who dealt with us for her valuable help in giving us two other rooms. Having a car in this neighbourhood is rather an impediment than an asset. This could perhaps be noted on the site. My rented car stayed three days in the hotel parking lot...." (97727409)

  Excellent staff, silence, good bathroom, good size, good breakfast service, cleanliness, coffee and tea in the room, good bed.

  Not quite enough room for clothes, the elevator to parking broke down, the public phone too far from rooms.

  "Our overall 2 night stay at this hotel was very enjoyable and would stay here again in the future. The ammenities were more than adequate for the price range of the hotel. It was furnished with modern fittings and was very clean. The staff were always very pleasant and very kind to me in my pigeon French!" (97563685)

  Our main reason for staying at Novotel Hotel chain was the facility to cater for a family of four. This coupled with the free breakfast for our children made our mini break very affordable.

  Our first view of the hotel was very impressive. On our approach to the reception area, we were told we had the wrong hotel and we had to got next door. Firstly Marseille Vieux Port to us was not clearly marked there were actually two hotels. Secondly, our reception in the first hotel (clearly more expensive) was very poor and made us feel very cheap!, the women on the reception was no help a mear go out the door and turn right attitude?

  "It's very difficult to think of anything, but the best we can do is to request clearer instructions on first arrival for accessing the parking garage." (99402279)

  The room was very bright and cheerful, and the design imaginitive and uplifting. The bathroom included one of the best showers we had encountered in a long time.

  Nothing, really. We were not able to persuade the air conditioning to function, but since we were able to open the windows we were probably had a more comfortable night!

  "Very nice for beeing a three star hotel. Better standard than expected. Resonable price. Could difinitly recommend it for others." (46671915)

  Location and breakfast, roomstandard. The service was allright

  Bad ventilation, could be bad air-conditioning? I like it best when breakfast is included in the price.
