    "habia una fiesta en la plaza donde estaba el hotel y no acabo hasta las 2 de la mañana, con lo que no pudimos dormir hasta esa hora. Comprendo que los propietarios no les interesa avisar para que se reserve en su hotel, pero solo sirve para que la noche que pasamos alli fuera mala....muy mala. No me arriesgaria a volver a ese hotel por si hay otra fiesta" (108883812)

    From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the friendly & helpful attitude of all staff, "going that extra mile". Service at reception was particularly efficient. Comfortable room which we would be happy to occupy again.

    "Bergerac is a small town and only worth an overnight stay in winter but definitely worth a visit. Airport undergoing reconstruction. No permanent taxi rank - either phone up or ask a waiting driver to order another taxi for you. No buses." (107327426)

    Quiet room, contemporary fittings, pleasant furnishings. Friendly, helpful staff. Lift. Good location. Parking available.

    No kettle, CNN and Eurosport only English TV channels. No view from room. Restaurant closed in winter - breakfast only.

    bedroom was very cosy and the decor excellent.

    Not really a bad point, but it was too hot in the room. We slept with the window open.

    the staff were friendly and professional. A key problem was that right outside our window there was a large family gathering-a meal lasting until midnight-it looks like someone's back yard but it is right underneath the windows of the guests. It was impossible to sleep and closing the windows was out because of no air conditioning--other than that problem the hotel is a good option

    "It was easy to find and in a central position in Bergerac. The hotel is easy to find and is very welcoming. However because of the problems with the room as stated above I did not spend a very restful night." (97378034)

    spacious room with plenty of wardrobe space and very clean,close to all local amenities,very helpful and friendly staff only 10 mins from airport, very reasonable room costs .

    It was in an excellent location for the centre of Bergerac and offered good value for money. It is a hotel to stay in for one of two nights - any longer the rooms need to be bigger and the hotel needs more stars.

    "Only staying one night the accommodation was fine staff were nice bedding was clean and the night porter very obliging. We would not hestitate to book this hotel again or recommend this hotel to our friends and family." (97293404)

    reception and porter very pleasant and accommodating

    Unfortunately the bathroom door didn't shut and although we have been married for over 30 years we still like our privacy when using the toilet! We however kept the door shut with our foot. The bed was my husband thought in need of renewal as it sagged in the middle. I am sure that if we had been staying here longer the staff would have willingly solved these few minor problems,as they seemed very helpful.

    "This was a good selection for the price range. I don't know if there wasn't a map or if I just failed to print it, but we had a little difficulty finding the hotel and then finding our way to the Bergerac airport. More available maps would have been helpful. Place was clean, service friendly and polite, good suggestion on dinner restaurant." (99723067)

    Free WiFi was fantastic addition. Shower was modern and clean.

    Breakfast didn't start in time to have any (we had to leave around 7 a.m.

    "Bergerac is such an attractive medieval town in the centre of the Bordeaux region and on the Dordogne river. It offers plenty of choice for evening meals and access to Bordeaux, Sarlat, Periguex by public transport. The twice weekly market is just in the centre of the street and takes up much of the town with the lovely vegetables, baskets, jewellery etc! The hotel is centrally placed and the owners cannot do enough to make your stay a happy experience. It is spotless and comfortable. The small garden with pool is just perfect for a couple of relaxing hours. The owners are more than willing to serve drinks as and when required. We had a very comfortable stay." (99059549)
