    "Overall, what you would expect from a hotel of this standard - basic accommodation. Slightly over-priced but this mainly due to the state of the Euro! Experience vastly improved by exceptional customer service." (108755183)

    All hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. When we couldn't work the TV the proprietor made several visits to our room to resolve the problem - excellent! Super continental breakfast served at very convenient times.

    We have always found this hotel to be very adequate for somwhere to stay to/from the Channel crossing, and for a quick break. Etaples is a good place to stay for us. When we first came the hotel was cheap, clean and cheerful. the owner is very friendly. Over the years things have been sliding down. We have never liked the very reduced check-in times advertised, although Gino has often been there when not advertised.

    Some of the soft furnishings are looking grubby now. The previous time we stayed, the shower door had broken. This time, in a different room, the shower holder had broken. We were checked in by a machine on a Sunday. This felt strange, but we managed. the check-out was more worrying, as we had no instructions where to leave the key. In the end we put them through the letter box. We missed any human contact. We were surprised to see that there was no breakfast on the Monday morning, but managed without. A kettle in the room would have been very welcome to make an early morning drink. We tried to use the TV, but one of the remotes was not functioning, so we had to abandon the attempt.

    Friendly staff. Modern, clean room and reception areas. breakfast included a nice selection for the cost especially when comparing to that available in the surrounding towns

    nothing major but a dimmer bedside light would have been useful with a toddler asleep in the room. Could have done with another couple of towels but that is just being picky!

    It was functional but very clean and well ordered.

    The breakfast choice was somewhat limited but you get what you pay for.

    "Loved the location of the hotel as it is very near the best fresh seafood shops in Etaples and the market on Tuesday which is around the corner of the hotel offers the best of France's farm produce, homemade butter, eggs, organic vegetables, fresh bread. what more can you ask for."     - Close to town and there is an excellent market in Town every Tuesday with beautiful farm produce and seafood as well - excellent secure car parking facilities - location of hotel is perfect near the fresh seafood in Etaples and a short drive to Le Touquet resort which has a beautiful sandy beach. - owners of the hotel are friendly and helpful - convenient drive from Bolougne

    - beds are slightly too narrow - the room should have less bulkier furniture which will make it more spacious

    The room was clean and adequate for the price we paid. It was near to the places we wanted to visit without too much travel.

    Shower head brocken. Drainage problem. No cover on duvet.Dogs and cats.No plates in kitchen. No english t.v. No bedside lamps. Trivial points but it would have been better if these points were rectified.

    Friendly service, reasonable size accommodation, modern facilities & value for money

    WiFi was an important facility for me, which was not available in my room as advertised. Apparently, the signal kept going down, which was very frustrating.

    "Le système de réservation est impeccable. Un contact téléphonique la veille de l'arrivée et le lit bébé était prêt pour notre troisième enfant. Les chambres sont très propre et à l'état quasi neuf. Accueil sympa et petit déjeuner simple mais parfait. Un séjour très agréable que nous renouvellerons sans doute !" (97159567)

    Warm and friendly greeting, good breakfast in pleasant room with view onto garden, good secure parking, reasonable size apartment in main block, with good variable control convector heaters.

    missed some of the nicer things like hand soap and shampoo. (however, there was a liquid soap dispenser in the bathroom) No plug for bathroom sink!

    HOTEL AND ROOMS CLEAN AND STAFF VERY FRIENDLY (CUTE LITTLE DOG!) EXCELLENT SECURE, FREE PARKING. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST GOOD, LOVELY FRESH BREAD AND CROISSANTS.

    ROOM WAS VERY SMALL AND AT THE TOP OF SOME TRICKY STEPS, BUT OK FOR THE AGILE ABLED BODIED, AND AS WE BOOKED AT THE LAST MINUTE WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS!

    We have stayed here before and will stay again. The staff are great and the accomodation cheap and cheerful. Very friendly, and relaxed atmosphere.
