    Conveniently located, easy to find the city centre.

    No air conditioning. Language barrier made communication slightly challenging - my French and her English were on a par!

    "Auf Nachfrage wurde uns von der Rezeption ein nahe gelegenes Restaurant empfohlen, was auch sehr gut war. Alles in allem prima und sehr unkompliziert." (107629223)

    The owners were very welcoming and helpful; including giving us information about local facilities and busses; this enabled us to park our car and enjoy the sites without worrying about driving into the town.

    "The hotel was excellent. We were a little concerned when we arrived as we saw no sign of the historic city centre and thought it might be too far away, but found to our delight that it was wihtin easy walking distance. It makes a very good base for seeing the city and tkaing trips further afield." (99840767)

    "As a person with limited mobility, it would have been helpful to know the room was on an upper floor with no lift.While I can manage in a room which is not designed for disability, there are circmstances,like difficult access, and, in this case a shower with a small wall to step, in which, had I been aware might have led me to ask for disabled facilities."     Secure car parking, helpful and friendly staff; reasonably close to city centre

    Platicky mattress protector; we appreciate why these are used but, as hot sleepers we do not sleep well and often end up removing them so we can sleep.

    The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The regular pillow (instead of a bolster) was nice.

    There were no towel bars in the bathroom, and with 3 adults, there was no room to put the towels.

    "It's a good idea to call ahead if you are going to be late - the hotel closes at 10pm!" (99180305)

    Good value for money. Parking is locked and secure. Rooms are clean and comfortable - bathrooms are very modern and clean.

    Hard to find. Directions could be better as there are two roads in Troyes with this name - the sat nav gets confused!!
