  The quality of the food.

  The French way of serving customers is hard to understand. The staff is friendly but very reserved. The owner was more open for communication.

  *Lovely room with balcony, friendly staff . clean hotel with nice outdoor eating space

  The lake is a good 10 minutes walk away, with no view from the hotel which overlooks a road. Very little else around and restaurant choice at hotel limited and expensive , although the sweets were excellent

  "Die genaue Lage des Hotels. Wir waren der Annahme das Hotel liegt direkt am Lac de Madine. Da der Ort klein und ruhig ist, hatte die zentrale Lage im Ort für uns nichts Negatives. Dieses Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert." (97588616)

  Nettes Ambiente, gute Deutschkenntnisse und eine hervorragende Küche

  "good facilities . It seems reasonable at first glance, but works out expensive when you add on the breakfast and dinner - there is nowhere else to eat nearby." (97489026)

  "Our first impression of a well -run and customer-oriented operation was fully borne out. The staff were excellent, especially the woman at reception who took a lot of trouble to book ahead for our next overnight. The rooms and outside appearance were very clean and fresh. The hotel is set in a delightful, quiet village with easy walks to the lake. Easy parking." (99414057)

  Firstly the staff: they were efficient,attentive and very friendly. The hotel was very clean and well decorated.

  "A well placed friendly hotel with an excellent restaurant. The anne in which we were staying was a little way from the hotel and had an unfinshed feel about it." (99311310)

  Clean with a good bathroom layout

  We were roomed in the hotel annex which had an unfinished feel about it with electric wires protruding from the wall without light fitting
