    "Reims is an interesting and exciting city. It is a little expensive to shop and dine. At present the creation of the new tram system in the city centre means that roads and pedestrian walkways are severly disrupted. Once finished this will be a really good holiday centre or stop off point." (107667914)

    Good location close both to motorway and town centre. Very convenient for near by cafes and restaurants. Secure parking.

    Does anyone over the age of 35, on a business schedule, appreciate listening to the joyous screams and laughter of university students partying( after 23H00) on the street below? Noise ++++ 5 stories up and windows closed.

    The webblog said that your hotel is a 4**** posing as a 3*** and they were right! Excellent. The bathroom decor/functioning were superb.

    Not really "bad" comments, more minor but... We requested a twin room and the first room was a double so had to go back to reception. Reception insisted we had not specified twin but it WAS written a few lines further down as we found out later. Not what you want after a long drive! Also the room overlooked the front of the hotel and was a bit noisy with people and cobblestones/cars. The town cleaning services start very early in the morning too...and were not quiet! In hindsight we should have asked for a quiet room but we had unpacked by then and were only staying 2 nights so did not do so. I have to own to being a light sleeper.

    The hotel is in an excellent position, the staff are very helpful and the overall experience was great. I would mention that the Cafe Bar has excellent food.

    Beautiful room. Lovely hotel with excellent staff

    More could be done to move on the begars who are outside the main entrance and who we could see from our room

    Modern Hotelright in City Centre. Good food in hotel, both dinner and breakfast, very good staff on reception.

    "Glad of locked garage parking in town centre for a reasonable 10 euros per day. Although Reims is refurbishing some central roads and squares, it was still easy to get on to the main roads in and out of town. " (97363525)

    Clean room, helpful staff

    Breakfast food area could be better laid out. Guests had to go from one unit to another to pick up what was wanted. This created a bit of a melee in the middle area making it a challenge when carrying hot food!

    Very central, modern and extremely well presented!

    The staff-they moved our car without asking us so we could not find it for a while in the car park when we left with all our cases. They misinformed us about the champagne houses saying they were closed but when we went anyway we found that they were open! The breakfast is too expensive for what you get.

    "Pleasant staff , easy to access from the motorway and you can prebook a car parking space which is very important if you have been buying champagne. However I found out about this prebooking from a friend it was not shown in your info. It was good value because we booked thro your site - the quoted hotel rate is much higher" (97439491)

    The facilities in the room were good

    The check in process where we were made to feel most unwelcome. Even though we had all our paperwork with us, they took a considerable time to find their copy and then long conversations about us took place in French, which even though we couldn't understand all of it we got the gist of.

    "The hotel is very central but the room we had was very quiet and had a partial view of the cathedral. Although there is no parking for the hotel, it was very easy to use the underground car park nearby. We really enjoyed the cool bar. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel - 12 euros for a coffee and croissant (which was all we wanted) seemed a lot. However, there were plenty of cafes moments away by foot. My only quibble is that when the fire alarm went off at 9am one morning, the domestic staff either knew something we did not, or were incredibly foolhardy. While we trooped downstairs with all the other guests, they let themselves into our room and started cleaning before we had had chance to have a shower. I had to ask them to leave the room when we returned." (99219697)

    Modern decor. Large, convenient, bathroom with decent shower. Very comfortable bed. Quiet room.
