  strange no hand basin in toilet area but in showeroom facilities however after almost 9 hours travel ideal stop over, comfortable presentable accomodation. Great to have restaurant on site as not wanting to search for place to eat after arrival especially as raining heavily. Restaurant food very good. Staff courteous, friendly and helpful

  Location of Novotel - very difficult to gain access, very poorly sign-posted, already aware of difficulties from previous comments but printed off map presumed wound by easy to find, but still difficult, no arguments between us until then and upset arrival at destination as not able to gain access easily. Carpet could have been cleaner in bedroom and passageways, still small particles general debris visible. Due to Eurotunnel fire hoped to print off e-mail of alternative confirmation ok booking sent from UK, but although wireless available had no lap top as not business but leisure traveller. Consider future internet access for occassional access by public for such services???

  Conveninec to the Auchan across the road, where good food was available.

  The lunch we had on the Saturday by the poolside was marred by two things: a rabbit appeared to drown in the pool and none of the hotel staff paid any attention to this. The club sandwich was terrible, a lone rubbery slice of chicken breast looked measly and was inedible. My wife said the fruit salad was good.
